i never really got why anyone found that show so funny. personally, i’m glad it’s off the air. i hate shows that you need to think to watch.
i always thought this show was funny…i was pissed when it got canceled…

i was actually thinking about this topic this weekend. what is ad was bought by nbc originally and put on it’s thrusday night lineup with scrubs and the office? it would be on season 5 right now i imagine…
I’m late on the AD bandwagon. I’ve only seen a few episodes, but I’m digging it so far.

step 1: watch episode 1-53
step 2: watch episode 1-53 again
step 3: repeat steps 1 and 2.
if you think the show is funny and quirky your first time through wait until the second and third time.

how many times have you guys been through the entire run? i think i’m on number 6 of full runs, though i watch a season every once in a while. it is definately a show that should be watched in order…
I recently got into this show. Its unfortunate it was canceled, but not enough people knew about it. I just found out it existed 3 months ago.
Anyways, I own season 1 and will get season 2 soon.
that’s 100% fox’s fault. they didn’t promote it at all. this is how much fox stuck up a middle finger at ad - they put the final four episodes of the show on the same night against the opening of the olympics…it’s fucking bs…
Yeah, seriously - the show’s already top tier the first time around, but I cannot believe how awesome it gets on subsequent viewings.
The sheer amount and quality of all the running jokes in this series is too awesome for words. It’s such a rewarding experience to go through it again but paying attention to a different thing each time and being able to look out for those recurring gags.
Even just going through it again with the luxury of knowing the plot already and just paying attention to the subtle facial expressions and stuff of everyone…it’s so good.
Arrested Development probably had one of the greatest casts ever in the history of sitcoms.
