Oh man I had no idea this game existed till a few days ago. I’ve been living under a rock. I will get this game in about a week or two when my cash flow gets back to normal. Can’t wait to create me a lightweight blader.
My 360 replacement power cable will be here between sat-wed and even then I’ll be busy with rokband2 but I’ll definitely cop this for 360 sometime in october and I’ll be out for blood on them leaderboards.

is also one of my beloved favorites. I buy nearly every single one…and I still pop in Silent
Line from time to time to play with no restrictions, weight, ect. Tis fun.
The one thing I wish they’d (From Software) would STOP doing though is making arenas
that the CPU can’t fight in as I’m usually stuck just playing these game by myself. I mean,
some of the old arenas they’ve created in the PS2 games were hella cool but had to be played
with another person though. Argh.

I got this game too. AC is an awesome game. I haven’t finished it up yet, but I’m almost done. Hit me up on Xbox Live sometime though.
Been playin armored core since the first one on PSX, this part totally jus amazed me with the speed of the game, plus now they added co-op and also online battles which by themselves make the game worth it, i cant wait for this weekend to play cuz work+college is jus leaving time for me to eat n sleep lol barely spend time wit my girl even.

I don’t really have a strategy. I used a lot of missiles, a machine gun & a sniper rifle for pretty much far to close range combat.
To bad they took out OB (orbital cannons) & EO (Exceed Orbit) core parts. I had this crazy ass strat where I’d have a machine gun, rockets, orbital cannons & EO firing @ your @$$ to make your AC overheat & deplete your AP quickly. :devil: That was awesome! I had a laser blade equipped too, just in case you got to close hehe.
Well my planned weapon loadout will be something like grenade rifle and/or back unit 'nades, machine gun to deplete PA(so the grenades do max damage) on a midweight AC. Obviously I’ll have to see the details as it comes up for everything else, and of course this isn’t for missions.

What are Orbital Cannons and Exceed Orbit? AC4 was my first in the series. I’m imagining that Orbital Cannons are something like Vic Viper’s Options or the “fangs” that flew around and shot lasers that belonged to that on Gundam in 00.
Actually OB meant OverBoost. It referred to the type of Core you chose. Some would have OB as an extra option(it wasn’t standard like in AC4), others would have EO which is like the VV’s Options, though they weren’t very good, but they also had no ammo, just a recharge time.
I’m using my Nobunaga v1 at the moment. Basically its very close to a mid-weight, machine gunsx2, and missiles on the back. Good in close to mid range and fast as hell.
I’m planning on building a suped up shotgun/blader. I’m gonna give it a back and side booster and the small hover legs.
lol i wanna unlock all the parts n make a blade only mech for teamwork, and i got a mid weight mech for when i feel ike useing my guns hehe, but my favorite build is a 1 blade and a machine gun to blind ppl or atleast annoy em n make em stand still for a pslit of a second lol.
And bak in the early AC days i used to roll wit a machine gun and flame thrower to heat up those big mechs n jus fry em in a split second:smokin:

Actually, that sounds interesting. You should prob equip some flares so you don’t get owned by missiles. Lol, I’m imagining how that would work. Sniping while moving back and then blading when they close in(thinking that being close would be a good idea). Things will change once they see you have a blade though. If you go up against a machine gunner, things might go bad for you. I’d get in mid-range and pelt you with machine/gatling gun and then side boost when you sword lunge.
dude nothin is a wierd combo in armored core now, almost anything can work on ur favor in this game especially if you got it well balanced n knw wen to use the blade. trust me ive been suprised hehe n im still at work @_@ getn out in around 30 min. lol yes i am counting time xD
Aww shit. now HAVE TO buy this game. I was seriously just going to stop buying AC games altogether but it seems that this one has garnered alot more interest for some reason. Now I really need to try revive the offline scene again. This is gonna take some work. Fuck ACO.
