Wow I never knew we actually had armored core fans here at SRK! I used to go on xlink kai everyday and play Armored Core:Nexus (my favorite game of alltime). ,Tough times with my brother taking the ps3 to college and so much homework, I’ll get to play it someday hopefully.

I’ve held off on getting a 360 so I won’t be playing this till October some time. Got more important things to take of first. But best believe I’m going to be an owner of this game. Been playing AC since the very first game but missed out on all the glorified expansions until I picked up the bad ass LE Toys R Us Armored Core III set (came with an action figure and t-shirt that I still fucking wear) and I played that shit till I had the perfect set-up (s) for me. Loved it. Then, with no immediate competition, I never got back into it. So with online play and ‘easier’ gameplay, I’ll be coming back home!
While I can’t go on Live with my copy of the game, I can tell you that wielding double machineguns/gatling guns will tear through most of the game with little trouble

i used to play AC since the slow psx days, but with no one else around here playing i gave up during the ps2 era. Seems that i will be getting this on ps3. Nice to see this game is fast paced now.
I haven’t played AC since the PSX days as well. It does look alot faster now just like the Zone of Enders series (which i absolutely love). I’ll probably be coping the PS3 version…after i read up more about it. For those that own this already…what other features are in this game?
Let’s see. There’s a new thing called Assault Armor. You press the reload buttons and the overed boost button and you mech will purge a large amount of kojima particles(i think that’s what it is, the energy for your shield) and it causes a big explosion around you. The explosion does damage(not sure how much) and completely depletes the Primal Armor of those nearby. It also depletes your own Primal Armor so you’ll be vulnerable for a few seconds.
If you are locked on to an enemy and use a melee weapon while within a certain range, you home in on them. In a video I’ve seen someone use this homing feature to get right up on somebody, then he used Assault Armor.

CUBE is retarded…we both ran out of ammo and right now I just sat down my controller and is just pestering me like a fly. :mad::mad::mad:
I beat him with dual sniper and a lot of missiles. Then my 360 froze before I saved it so it took me another hour or so to do it again.
I haven’t even made my own mech yet. I murder all of the other ones with the one I start off with. Guess I had better forfeit the match and get to work.:mad:
