Thanks for the great time today guys, I was incredibly free in SFxT, but did a lot better at Marvel than I thought I would. Need to learn to get around Zero now and anchor Vergil so I don’t choke.

Thank you to the hosts of the tournaments this weekend. Both the Hazbat and the strip club tourney were a blast. A couple of notes in bullet form:
-Good shit to the Tucson crew, as always. Thanks for coming up, I’m sorry I wasn’t able to return the favor this past tourney. Shoutouts to Marvin’s weird European cherry everclear stuff and Rick’s hot tamale stuff.
-Thanks to Haz for opening up his home and hosting the Hazbat.
-SCV finals were very entertaining to me. I still haven’t had a chance to sit down with the game but I’m glad the turnout was solid and the hype was there. Thank you to that and the KoF scenes for making the trip out.
-Skullgirls. Everyone should play it. It’s a good game.
-Thank you to everyone I had the pleasure of commentating with and on. It’s been awhile for me and I tried to do it this time without being as drunkenly belligerent as usual, to varying degrees of success. There seemed to be a bit of an Asian monopoly on the mic this time around, haha.

-@Yazawa, keep on keepin’ on. You beat two players that normally hand my ass to me, you just need more exposure to the Zero and scrubfactor anchor Vergil matchups like you said. Our matches could have gone either way at any point, hope to see you at a Hazbat sometime to follow up on them.

-What is it with pad players and neutral tech wakeup L/S? Animated Nick and Yazawa both surprised the shit out of me with that. I don’t know what to think about that. My mind says “WTF,” but my heart says “That’s actually kinda smart, but seriously WTF?”
-RIP Haz’s plastic chairs. Now I know where that venue fee is going!

Great games yesterday and the day before, boy what a weekend this time around.
I want to say thanks to Workdawg and Robb for hosting tournaments, and to Haz for opening up his house as usual and taking care of our needs.
Good shit to the KOF and SCV scenes coming out and showing us how hype they can be, it was a real treat to see some of the matches especially the grand finals on both games. Also shoutouts to all the new players, so much passion I hope you all keep coming out!

Yeah, I had a hard time killing Zero too, seemed every time I had the chance I’d drop the ball. Also, I guess I should’ve been more aggressive when it came down to Vergil anchor dittos since I just realized this morning I could’ve just done the same thing to you and waited to see what happened. But yes, both matches came down to the wire and I was glad to know I wasn’t being completely free.
Lol, not sure if you meant me or not when you typed this, but I was mostly talking shit that we had to go to a strip joint to play fighting games. But anything is better than a cramped house in the end and I had some fun, hope I can play you next tourney, looked like you had some cool tech.
I live in Maricopa county, if you can give me address I can try to see how far it is from my place and see whether or not I can get a ride there.

Man, I thought you were cool but all you do is shit on fighting games that aren’t Capcom, I don’t even go to tournaments much but it’s painfully obvious Haz wants more people to play KOF and SC5(or at least wants people to go play it), so he hosted it. If you don’t want to wait, go do something else and come back later man, not like anyone is forcing you to sit down and watch.
EDIT: Not going to lie either, SFxT does take the longest from what I saw this sunday. Even when I was in losers and actually trying to lose, it still took a long ass time. At least in KOF a round can end quickly in one combo while that isn’t even in SFxT…

I don’t care about sc5, true, but it doesn’t mean I don’t care about scene growth. Cmon man, you know this. When was the last time I said anything bad about sc5? When it first came out? I said why I don’t like it. You don’t see me coming here making constant reminders that I don’t like it and poking jabs, over and over. I liked the fact sc5 and kof was there. And I enjoyed watching both. Yet the whole day all I hear “waaaah sfxt waaaah waaaah, why you play this? This game agiain? This game sucks play this superior game instead, this and that”. Hear it everytime, Shit gets old dude. Sc5 isn’t my cup of tea. But I’m not gonna shit on the players that enjoy it and mock them for it, over and over. You know?

Me and a few friends planned to go out to eat after the strip club tournament, and rickdawg wanted to come too. Unfortunately this needed to take place AFTER grand finals for SFxT (which rick was in). It literally, not exaggerating, took over 30 minutes to finish due to 3-2 close sets, and a reset. Also, guile and ryu fireball wars. That is what my comment was addressing.
I don’t know why you thought it was appropriate to retort to that with “Screw KOF and SCV waiting 3 hrs, etc.”… I would of said that comment to any grand finals match that I had to wait on to go get food.

Yeah Armondo was just talking about yesterday’s finals between me and Rick (which I reset, which lead to the delay as well) but without being there no way Scott would have known that’s what he was referring to.
Speaking of which, first GGs to Rick; super intense matches. I am now going to apologize in advance for anyone I play in SFxT or anyone who watches my matches because from now on, I am going to go full out Lame Mode every time. If I have to neutral jump or trade fireballs for 70 sec to get the win, you’re damn right I will lol.
(Note: I play Guile and this is his strategy anyways; it does not reflect the state of the game or of other players. The SFxT finals on Sat were super exciting to watch for me.)

Ok then, my mistake. Like I said though, it was more of a reaction from saturday at hazems cuz the shit was getting so annoying, especially when we were just practicing and constantly having to hear the constant jabs coming from you guys while playing marvel. As well as other people. You know what I mean? It’s like, we get it, people don’t like sfxt for x numberof opinions and your game is so much better than it for x number of opinions. I don’t care if people don’t like it, that’s absolutely fine. But God Damn, do the same people need to make constant reminders and go out of their way day in and day out and tell us why its horrible, scrubby, etc and why we should just play their game instead. It’s weak.
