SFxT being Teams at EVO is lame, but I will keep playing it as long as we have a seen for it, and as long as we have our own tournaments.

IMO, LOL is very pay-to-win and overprice skins. it is fun. Plus its easy to sink time into that game and not think twice

Stupid ass Evo and it’s mandatory 2v2 in SFxT. In traditional sports no one gives a shit about how many tennis doubles grand slams a team wins – it’s about individual accomplishment. Being on the best fighting game team doesn’t quite bring out the e-penis envy as knowing who really is the top dog.
Ok so a couple of announcements here PLEASE READ THIS ENTIRE POST!!
First off, hAZBat season 2 will be starting soon! Details are below:
The dates of the hAZBat 2 will be **April 28th, May 12th, May 19th, June 2nd, June 16th **(we are skipping the 26th of may for personal reasons so please take note that may 12th and 19th only have a one week gap)
The location is to be determined, we are currently looking and working with others to obtain a bigger venue, if no such venue can be found in time then the location will be at HAZ’s House (8203 S 53rd ave, Laveen, AZ)
The schedule of the tournament will be as follows (please try to stay up to date as times may change slightly):
**2:00pm-5:00pm SFXT TEAMS **(since this is now the EVO layout, we will follow and practice for it, IF for some reason EVO changes how SFxT will be handled we will also change)
4:00pm-7:00pm SF4AE2012 Singles
7:00pm-11:00pm UMVC3 Singles
Now you can see there is a slight overlap in SFXT and SF4, this is intentional since we are running three games there will be parts of the tournament that have multiple games going at one time. This is also a rough schedule of events but expect the start times to be accurate, so DON’T BE LATE!
The scoring system is slightly changed to keep it a little more competitive, for winning a single ranbat tournament you will be awarded the following points:
1st = 7pts
2nd = 5pts
3rd = 4pts
4th = 3pts
5th = 2pts
7th = 1pt
After the FIVE tournaments are over the** top THREE people** with the highest point totals will be awarded the ranbat pot split 60% for first, 30% for second, and 10% for third.
Also for winning a single ranbat tournament the top THREE players will be awarded** 60%** of the tournament pot for first,** 30%** for second and 10% for third
Each tournament will cost $5 dollar entry fee, of the $5 one dollar will be taken out and placed in the ranbat pot and leaving the remaining four for that single tournament pot
There will be a venue fee of $5 unless otherwise stated to cover electricity, equipment, and other expenses (such as food and drink at Haz’s house)
Each tournament will be a double elimination style bracket with Loser finals, Winner finals, and Grand finals being a best of 5 match while other matches are best of 3.
For SFxT there will be no gems allowed, and no infinite’s past three reps
Each game will be played on XBOX 360 and we appreciate anyone that is willing to help with setups, please text/message Hazeem if you can help.

After recent events I have come to the conclusion that Luey and Arnold will be banned from the first three tournaments of the next ranbat, this can extend to the entire season and further if needed. Also any other acts of violence by ANYONE will result in a PERMANENT BAN from any event I have any say in.
I am not going to take a side on the matter and do not wish to discuss it with any of you here.
The only thing I will say is that this is an extremely unfortunate thing to happen for our scene, if we are going to grow and become a more respected community then things like this can NEVER happen again.
So with that said,** if ANYONE FEELS threatened or is being verbally assaulted** and cannot resolve it between each other I am asking you to reach out to me if its one of my events or any other tournament organizer that is handling said event and express your concerns.** I ALSO ASK EACH AND EVERY SINGLE tournament organizer** to step up and take control of your events, if someone comes up to you for help then it is your duty to step in and help for the sake of the entire community and for each player, we as organizers must take a non bias stance and resolve these problems to the best of our abilities.
Again this is NOT up for discussion or DEBATE what I have said is final and will not be changed.

How does the non-gems thing work if you’re bringing a setup?
I ask primarily because I usually bring a setup myself. Do you just go into customize and set every character with a no gems setup?

This part kinda troubles me, you’re pretty much encouraging people to do whatever they want, since it’s obvious that some people like to try to push people to their limits, knowing there’s no retribution for it.
Dorion you must not of read the last part of the post about coming up to organizers if you are being verbal assualted or feeling threatened. Anyways AGAIN I AM NOT DISCUSSING THIS ANY FURTHER.
