I’m not entirely mad though; I barely play this game anymore, not because I think it sucks, it’s just that I don’t care enough and I barely find any good connections.
I seriously cannot tech throws for my life lol, I recognize the situation, I say “okay, he’s going to try to throw me”, wait for the moment, hit the button…and get thrown. Most frustrating way to lose ever, I don’t mind if I make a bad decision, or if I just botch execution fine, that’s my fault and I deserve to lose…but when I make the right read and do what you’re supposed to do when you’re supposed to do it that really salts me up.
A lot less people playing these days. Really need to find an offline scene ;_;
Sometimes I feel like I work so hard to get a win, miss a link and get blown up for it. Oh well, the salt runs strong sometimes.

I need to work on doing U1 on the 1P side. Usually my trick is to nj.HK off opponent’s wake-up (granted they aren’t shotos) and buffer into U1 from the 2P side only. So far, nj.HK is a great hit-confirm so long as the timing in buffering QCFx2 correctly.
Aside from that, I neutralized my overwhelming mistake of randomly Otoshi’ing over characters in heated poke trades.

Is there something about the character Gen that just makes you mash up kicks the entire game? I just lost to a Gen because he consistently reversaled damn near everything, and half the time I knew he was going to do it, blocked it, landed a crouching fierce and missed my cancel…
Gen’s ex dp is extremely awkward to punish on landing, might just be best to do U2 when he’s in the air?
Yesterday was in a teams tourney, I beat the first guy I faced, but the second guy was a Viper, it came down to 3rd round of 3rd set, both of us with low health, I read his seismo right and jumped in landing j.hk…and somehow managed to drop j.hk > s.hp > ex tatsu. Guess I got too excited and hit hp too early, but gave the match away for free with that drop 
I just went 12/73 against Adon. Stop whining.

I just went to a local tourney here in San Diego. Didn’t do so well, played against a bison and viper and I played a casuals match against this sick Hakan. I lost all three but it was good experience as my first tourney. I need to learn more match ups >.<
