Hate divekicks so much unless it’s CvS2 
I am still in training mode, not going online yet. Learning to link moves or connect moves. Trying to practice with Fergus’s Challenge, I am having trouble trying to pull off the first three lol.

cr.lk > cr.lp > cr.hp xx MP/HP DP *
cr.lk > cr.lp > st.lp > cr.mk xx MP/HP DP *
Any tips on how to pull off xxMP/HP DP? I set the training dummy to block after first attack. I can get the first 3 hits down, but going into a MP/HP DP the CPU blocks so my timing is off or something
did you try practicing first cr. mk xx dp ? if you cant land this 100% the others BnB will be even harder.
yeah, i started practicing cr. mk xx dp after i read your post. Trying to clean up my inputs on a basic one with st.lp > cr.mk xx dp.

round 1 Got baited like whoa by yun player.round 2 got more patient and won.round 3 he just came in and had his way.been having loss of focus in round three’s of match ups lately.
Played in a tournament last weekend.
Mind you, I haven’t played IV in like a month, but my play was totally innexcusable.
Usually, when I play bad in tournament, I’m doing pretty damn well in casuals, not last week, I gave up nearly every winnable round there could be, and frankly, I should’ve asked the TO for my entry fee back right then, as things only got worse as the day went on.
I played round 1 winners, my opponent was completely and utterly free, nothing else to say about that.
Round 2 winners was a player I play fairly regularly, we’re relatively close in terms of skill, but I’ll win more often than not. First round, he gets the knockdown and gets a few consecutive good reads and I’m down a round, but its Abel Sakura, that’s how that match goes. Round two I stay on my feet and I’m playing some very solid offense. I get a combo that carried to the corner and wanted to EX tatsu Otoshi X2 meaty fireball. I was blocking to bait the roll, and I see the super freeze. For whatever reason, I got the idea that I should try to jump out of this (protip, that’s not a thing, and has never been a thing). I get cought out of prejump and I lose match one. After doing something so colossally stupid, I was physically, mentally and emotionally checked out of the tournament, lost the next match, and would lose again in losers to somebody that had no business taking a round from me whatsoever.
I watched none of the other SF matches, being as I was totally disgusted by my play that day, and would then go to the Competitive Catherine setup and the arcade downstairs to blow off some steam.

I haven’t played AE, let alone SFIV in a long while. I’m sooooooo rusty! Need to practice though since I’m going to a Italian tournament in Dec… Better get ready for a ass-whoopin… 
I always do random Otoshi’s when trading normals up close. Pisses me off so bad but it’s a hard habit to break. I was thinking backdashing then mashing DP for otoshi but I doubt it’d ever really connect without getting punished.

Feel like I could do better right now. I was dropping a lot of my combos online yesterday. . I usually can get them, but I guess yesterday wasn’t my day.
I have the problem of getting my st. HK SPD’d by every Zangief ever.
It’s better to punish when he whiffs the Roundhouse SPD. This way, you don’t get caught up in gimmicks like that sort, and it’s easier to follow-up with a more damaging combo than that of s.Roundhouse.
