is there options for clear pcbs now-a-days? wow that would/might be rather gdlk, until well i think about how the light would reflect through the pcb and off the inside of the button, not exactly sure how that would work lol. im sure that would be pricey too… but you guys know more about fabrication than me at this point so who knos?
I think 32teeth was joking… bad robot!!!
Correct… you put it on the bottom of your button, and the holes show you where to stick your drill bit… you can either mark the spot, use a spring loaded punch, or just stick your 1/16" drill bit there
Heres a look at the template…

That template is awesome! Will you be able to include extras, I’m slightly prone to messing stuff up and just like to be prepared, lol! Whenever these are ready my money is as good as yours!!!
cant wait to get a set of these! that template so awesome!
Thanks =D I was going to include one template per 8 boards ordered, but remind me again when you paypal me to throw in a second one for you
Question: I was going to place a pre-order for the arc eye v2. Is there another version of the Sparky coming out that I have to pre-order as well or can I order the one featured here and install it beforehand?
Thanks
You can order a sparky now if you like…just remember to tell 32teeth you want pin headers instead of screw terminals… but so everyone knows, i work like 1 block away from 32teeth so I will offer combined shipping with sparky to save you some money =D
i figured, but it doesnt hurt to imagine the possibilities thas a very nice and elegant solution for the template, was expecting something more like here print this shit out and good luck lol
wow mk is looking like its going to be the fighting game of my dreams, and if it turns out that good, then i may have to reconsider theme of my custom…
I’ve let the factory know i’m ready to proceed with the order… haven’t heard back from them yet… in the meantime, feast your eyes on these!

Is that what I think it is?
LED-illuminated BONER.
So, guys, I just bought a HORI VLX. What’s the easiest way of getting AE2 /SPARKy installed on this beast? Or is it not technically possible… easily, that is.
In the mean time I will practice with my TE
will these arceye leds work with seimitsu ps-14-k buttons with sanwa sw-68 switches?
You’re talking about the snap in semitsus? They are compatible with sw-68 switches if you glue or double stick tape the arc-eyes down (since there is no collar on the switch for the center hole of the arc-eyes to “grab” onto)…
Also, if you look at the bottom of the inside of the button, you’ll notice two “fins” on the bottom corner… these will interfere with the PCB going all the way to the bottom… but it might still work… i’ll need to do some tests…
Haha =D
I’ve never seen a hori VLX in person, but theoretically if it fits semitsu ps-14-kn screw in buttons, i dont see why not… your only challenge would be to run the button signal lines, ground, and vcc (power) to sparky… sparky has screw terminals for that… as for how it connects to the viewlix, you can tap into button signal and ground by sandwitching a wire into the quick disconnect terminal of the button… and for vcc, you’ll probably need to solder that wire…
Those are the wire harnesses =D
Instead of a special 8 x 1 pin to a 1 x 8 pin header, i decided just to get a bunch of 1 pin to 1 pin headers. Its more cost effective and more flexible for other applications.
You have a very clean floor.
I will soon post up images of install. Maybe tomorrow.
nice nice, i hope you got a truck full of those, you are going to need them so you found a vendor that makes custom harnesses? thas awesome, at least you wont have to be making those by hand…
You have mail, my friend…
