In case anyone hasn’t heard the news, Teasy Strike, and Sparky PWM have arrived.
I highly recommend any version of sparky for use with Arc Eye 2.0
I am doing a video for Phreakazoid and hope to get it posted by the end of the coming week.
And depending on when certain parts arrive in the mail, i may be ready to reveal ArcEye2 the week following
I can’t wait to see what the new arc-eye 2! I will pm bencao74 for the v2 when I get the chance. I hope the shipping does not break the bank. But you really got me excited about the new v2. I might just wait and see how everything turn out.
oh yes please dont forget the leo2 users, well namely me i think my original prediction is correct: sparky pwm, sparkplug, arceyes2, and te-strike are part of a top to bottom plug n play solution for modding sticks with style. you guys need to come up with a new name for this new cartel, lol. if i am right this is going to be BIG, cant wait
LOL! I think the only reason I’ve got a few projects on hand is that I had to wait for a while to figure out what to do with them! 2 indecisive clients and waiting for some confirmations just pushed a few things back. Then there was d3v’s project, which was very wire intensive but worth it (and one of the first sparky jr sticks in the wild I believe) One of the projects was a case I just picked up from QCF a while back because it was available…
As for the Rollie buttons, they look quite nice when lit up with different colors. The one project I’m working on will light up blue, purple and white. I"ll shoot you a link once I have it wired. It would be great for sparky, but overkill for this client.
There’s always something new coming out, and for me it’s easier just to plan a new project around it rather than redo one of mine that’s already done. Not cost effective, but it just works better for me.
just saw a pic of the arcs 2.0 protos out in the wild! i must say, very nice! and simpler…i’ll refrain from commenting too much about it, until you do an official unveiling good shit
For the record, I don’t have AE 2.0 in the latest project I posted up. I’m waiting for those like everyone else! I discussed the boards I used with purplearms a bit earlier; for thoughts feel free to PM me.
Make sure you make some money PA, i think the dedicated TechTalk peoples will pay a bit more for your product with your track record. My paypal account is waiting for the 2.0
lol, yeah im an idiot and jumped the gun but i cant help it that im hype for these, shit everyone else should be too! purps, sleep on it as long as you need be, pricewise, make yourself some profit, you deserve it
thanks guys… I wanna keep these reasonably priced and ready for the masses… its looking like roughly $5 per arceye2 fully assembled at this point… $40 for a kit of 8 including wiring harnesses… that doesn’t sound too unreasonable does it?
32Teeth has decided to go screw terminals on sparky pwm, so i gotta get new quotes on wiring harnesses with stripped/tinned ends instead of pure plug and play…
Somehow I don’t think anyone is going to balk at that price, especially if you have a harness. Now, will there be a different harness for 6button layouts?
Stripped ends probably makes sense in the end as it leaves you with more options should a person decide not to go the sparky route (although sparky seems to bring out the best in the arc eyes…)
