ArcEye 2 LEDs - The Ultimate LED button mod!

Oh just a warning guys… Canada post may go on strike later this week… So if you are going to put in an order, now would be a good time to do it…

good thing I got my stuff today :^)

I want to see!

I’m not sure if this is covered anywhere. But are there any resources for the installation of sparky PWM to PS360? Or is it pretty straight forward that I should already know?

It is pretty straight forward. The PS360 has a 5v screw down terminal. The only problem is you can’t put LEDs in the UDLR for the joystick due to a voltage issue with PS360’s (just LEDs in the buttons works fine though).

I hope the videos i made have helped make it easy so far…

It is as maxoplata said. Just match the screw terminals and connect a wire joining the matching inputs (punches, kicks, power, ground). I aim to make diagrams when i have a spare moment. Right now I just took posession of my new house, and i’m in painting hell! :looney:

Purp - Your videos are fine, great in fact. I think most of the confusion comes from the led controller.

In my case I have the Sparky PWM ver.2 white, which doesn’t have specific instructions yet.
As simple as it is, I still had a few hangups since not everything is in the same spot as the JR.
Also bare in mind I’ve never done any sort of led mod before and I’ve got a screaming baby in the house, lol.

finally got around to putting my AE2s in backed by a Sparky PWM

thanks PA for making LEDs that much easier to drop in!

lol. epic shot there.

Off topic but I know the feeling. It was all part of my “Honey Do” list. I bought a 2 story 2 yrs ago. Spend like a grand in paint altogether!!! I feel your pain Purp.

Yeah sorry about that… i’ll get around to a making diagram this week i hope.

Wow… i spent 600 and i thought that was a lot!
My fingers are totally beat up. Been working day and night

Off topic as well: I got lazy and hired those college kid painters!

I got like 30 friends to help me!!!

I’m too anal about painting to hire people lol

Quick update guys… Canada Post is set to go on strike Thursday. Get your orders in ASAP!

@purple, so with the dual strike it´s just plug the 2 pcbs by a piggyback conector and voilá?So, to put leds in my custom I just need the arc eyes V2, the cables and one Spark pcb, I´m right?
where can I buy the arceyeV2?

That is correct… just connect them with a ribbon cable… if you dont have one i sell them for $3 each…
You can buy arceye v2 from me. Just read the first post of this thread for instructions.

Thanks to both purplearms & 32teeth for awesome products!

Installed my Arceye II’s and Sparky PWM v2 with great success. Man they sure do look purdey!
Can’t wait to show off the stick, but it’s not ready yet (another yet unseen VAS-HG). The wiring is not neat at all, but functional.
Had to do it in a hurray before my x-country move. Much respect to 32teeth’s clean ass wiring in the clear case!

One thing I noticed: I wasn’t able to test out having only 1 Arceye plugged in, some inputs would work while others didn’t at all. I had to plug in all Arceye boards in order to properly check if anything was busted. Just a tip for anyone trying to test one by itself.

Congrats! Can’t wait to see pics!

If anyone else has issues, another way to check if the problem is the LED or controller, is to swap the vcc line (single black jumper line) around from AE2 to AE2 if all the RGB lines are daisy chained
