I just realize that when my joystick hits left, it triggers button one according to my game applet. Wire interference?
I have the TEasy Strike. I actually followed PA’s tutorial on the wiring.

Best to email 32teeth for help… your sparky boards may have a damaged resonator… they’re very sensitive and easy to damage…
one possibility is that there is a short somewhere, or piece of frayed wire touching the pcb…
The other possibility is that it might be Madcatz TE PCB related… do you have a TE-S? There have been quality issues with the madcatz TE-S boards… the symptom is if it happens on 360 and not ps3, or if it doesnt connect to 360 sometimes…
both of these problems happen with or without teasy strike and i’ve heard numerous other people with TE-S who have this issue… doesnt seem to happen for TE though… it seems as if the internal pull up resistors in the micro controller are dying somehow…
here’s phreakazoid’s findings on this bug:
It was fine before I put in the sparky. I have the chunli TE with the TEasy Strike for a while now. This didn’t happen until i installed the sparky. =/ Let me post in 32teeth’s thread about it.
How are everyone’s installs going?
I think 32teeth has addressed everyone who’s had sparky issues and sent out replacement pcbs.
Anyone else left with issues?
I should have mine pretty soon. I’ll update later.
I will update when I get the replacement board. Thanks PA and 32teeth.
32 told me that I’m going to have to re-configure the sparky. Do I had to buy a ftdi breakout to reset it. Once I get that part I’ll update on whether or not I’m still having issues.

Once my case comes in (or I get my test SE case) I’ll let you know for sure
UFGT7 tourney this weekend in Chicago features a custom stick to be raffled off, featuring ArcEye2, Sparky PWM and Teasy Strike =D
i use both but prefer the Sparkfun one. No real reason other than Size (smaller footprint, and 2 leds)
Good news/bad news. Good news: Microcenter actually carries a few sparkfun items. Among them: a FTDI programmer. Picked one up when I stopped there this afternoon. Bad news: I get home and realized it was the 3.3v version, not the 5v version. NOt sure I can use it to program sparky.
hmm… as long as the speed is set correctly, it should work?
phreakazoid uses this one… this is a lot cleaner and more straight forward:
Can anyone refer me to a tshirt maker?
Yes, you can still use 3.3v
off topic in your own thread? tsk tsk LOL.
in a former BMXing life we used Artik in Toronto, they are located on Adelaide East
I might just order this one.
Huzzah! All is not lost! Thanks 32teeth. Now back to this custom wiring
I’m putting together both of mines now but I’ll give a update tomorrow after I finish testing them.
