that doesnt sound right… it should fit on the pins… i’ll cover plugging into sparky pwm in video 4… video 3 is currently uploading…
did you pick a color schema when you bought sparky pwm? or did you just add to basket and checkout without picking colors?
hmm, the fading on/off looks pretty nice in that video. I turned mine off but I may put it back on to test it out a little bit.
Oh, and 32teeth, any hidden way to turn sparky off? I was playing in a tournament the other day and someone mentioned they could see my X-ray coming a mile away because of the lights :(. I gave that away during casuals while we played, jokingly saying “just look for the lights…” whoopsie.
Doesn’t help they’re BRIGHT RED for X-ray
Yes I’ve used the configurator. For some reason no matter what pc its plugged into I get com3.
It’ll go through the cycle then not work again. I don’t have a multi-mahoseit to test the voltage

Once you pick your COM port the Sparky automatically resets. Meaning you get the 3 kicks lighting up red.
This is when you need to press and hold the three kicks.
If you are holding them down they will now go Red, Yellow, White.
Next, select your board (in this case Sparky PWM)
Next play with the colors for the patterns, your buttons will light up accordingly.
Check Step #3 here

Oh, and thanks for the email. received. and responded
mmmmm… those lights look better than I thought under the smoke buttons. May not need to order a clear set after all! Although I’ll still want a set of plunger replacements
i am working on my next stick.
- chun li TE S
- arts hobbies plexi top with clear border
- arc eyes and sparky
- thought about going clear again but may go smoke, shame about the lip on the snap in ones
would love to find plexi bottom for TE
I need to update and reconfig sparky for single button colors but here it is working…

looking good! Added your vid to 3rd post
I dl’d arduino and the beta firmware so that I could have each button be a seperate color. Upon hooking up to and trying to run the arduino sw I get upload errors, however Sparky no longer works :-(. Any ideas?

Best to ask 32teeth…
Guys, its probably a better idea to ask sparky questions in the sparky thread so its easier for people in the future to find info, and keep arc eye install specific things here
Sorry. I actually thought I had.
sorry purps. we may need to create a consolidated thread for ArcEye/Sparky support, anyway
Good idea…
good stuff purplearms
I’m curious. would there be something wrong if the lights keeps resetting itself?
edit: I don’t know if this is weird, when moving the joystick to the left the LK will light up too?

Here is how i put the AE2 into the ps-14-k (snap ins). If you look at the first pic, you’ll notice some parts are shaved off. I used a dremel to do that. I’ll have the original buttons pic for you guys to compare later. I made sure the AE is completely flush to the bottom and use some blue tape I have gotten from akihabarashop to secure it down. Thats it.
Also referring to the questions above.
You guys can just closed the video around the :45 mark. Afterwards its just me randomly clicking to see if its resets again.
min resets too about after 30mins to a hr but that was poor wiring on my part. as for ur joystick part, is your stick modded at all like dual mod or anything like that? and how did you wire to the buttons for a signal and ground?
