OK, so turn off may not have been the best choice of words. And yeah, I may have gone the complaining old man route (had to walk to school every day in the snow uphill both ways). But 32teeth is right. Having done a few arc eye installs having to solder SMD components and grind buttons down, and having soldered up my own harness for sparky jr does make any concerns over screw terminals, headers, stripping wires or even the notion that this isn’t ‘plug and play’ tends to grind my gears a bit.
like i said, i understand where you’re coming from and am by no means trying to offend anyone. just thought it was funny. as far as people thinking that this is not a PnP just because they have to do a little work…I call BULL CRAP…These guys have taken a lot of their time and efforts to make this as easy and pain free as possible for the end user. the least the end user could do it strip a couple of wires, screw a couple of terminals, and learn to do something that they will eventually need anyway like using a power drill…lol

Also, just to add things though. Eventually I’ll be trying to get to a bunch of tournaments here in the U.S. and will probably do installs of all Strike Devices stuff, including AE2+Sparky PWM installs for a small fee on top of the cost of parts.

Yup. Still need to order another ftdi programmer. Looked everywhere for it after I got my modding stuff organized. It’s nowhere to be found.
I’ll be ordering one, maybe 2 of those new sparkys very soon. Doesn’t matter what connector is on there, screw terminals or headers, I’ll make it work!

white… cant stand the thought of any solder mask color showing through the button when leds are off!
