Wouldn’t surprise me if they did nothing. All they have to do to make it trade less is move the top vulnerable box down a bit so a little bit along the top is not vulnerable. A few clean jump in stuffs and they stop doing it, lower damage or not.
Leave it as it is though, well AE means free jump in’s on Bison due to cr.hp being too slow in most matchups.

What would be cool is if they added a small hitbox at his toes. Kim was saying it seemed like it was max tip. If that is true then it may actually be a buff with added range. Can’t wait to se the hitboxes to see what’s goin on.
That move does not need ANY additional range.
(No, seriously. Bison has a godly walk speed and a pretty decent forward dash. I kinda wish the move won as anti-air more at max range – which would mostly happen less with a range extension and more with a vulnerable hitbox tweak – but its horizontal reach is quite sufficient on the ground. If it reached much further s. MK would start getting jealous.)
The emerging power of the Ying Yang Twins is troubling, but all in all Bison looks as solid as ever for AE. Can’t wait to make people cry about my scrub ass character all over again.

Think you guys can stop whining. He feels pretty much the same, scissor kick pushback is near unnoticeable, and now that his Ultra is charge I feel my reaction time has improved. I caught Gouken throwing his projectile at the start-up full screen, just after I saw that blue come out immediate psycho punisher, and loving the additional damage. I feel he does have a longer recovery if whiff/blocked, so be careful at attempting 50/50 shenanigans.
Don’t take this the wrong way but it sounds like that Gouken was either bad or forgot you had U2. Most fireball chuckers are more likely to wait for you to move forward when you have ultra stocked.

Didn’t bank on me punishing it more like. And yeah I had charge, not one fb should have been thrown. Still, I get to keep charge for whiffing devil reverse, scissor, or U2. Instead of buffering and losing my charge.
I really don’t understand the damage nerfs. If anything, Bison should be doing MORE damage since he doesn’t hit that hard as it is. I just wish they would have given him more solid anti air options. Being able to do cl.Fierce at any time by holding back on the joystick would be gdlk.
It’s just more damage now due to the 110 damage on the base of the kick. It’s more damage than c.LK c.LK c.LK LK Knee Press. If you can get the jump on someone, just go for that and wait for them to react after the s.HK.
But buffering allows you to be mobile. If you’re sitting on charge with meter and your opponent throws a FB, he’s either being careless or testing your reactions.
To me, it doesn’t pose as much of a threat simply because it loses some of its unpredictability.
If sitting on charge, you could U2 just like you could EX SK. If you’re moving forward, you still could punish FBs for good damage given you had the reactions for it.
Now you gain a better option when sitting back, but get nothing in return for assuming an offensive position.

How is it a nerf when it’s 110/80? It evens out or is barely noticeable considering the ranges st.hk usually hits at.
80 dmg against big characters that Bison has advantage against (will help some problematic characters) and 110 damage overall

I am guessing this will be more a problem in the gief matchup, where currently you’d rather at least trade with his jump in’s than let him in. AE you will not likely want a trade, the dmg diff will be too great.
I don’t say that Dictator need buff, but see other characters get new cool things and us just get us the retard U2 nerf as only noticeable change is boring

In my opinion SSF4 Dictator will be the most fun to play,his istant U2 make his playstyle way more dynamic,with the opponent that have fear in the ass to get psycho punished
