It’ll make things easier for us.

Aw yeah, the Tucson tourneys continue once again. Would be amazing if this could turn into a consistent gathering/ranbat type thing. Look forward to seeing all of the other AZ players, maybe even some out of state players?!

Anyhow, put me down :stuck_out_tongue:

For GGAC and 3s, Marvin “Kyoku.”

Forward - All Games

Thanks for the post Aaron.

For those of you coming from Phoenix you want to Exit I-10 at the Paloverde North Exit. Just continue North on Paloverde and it will turn into Alvernon. At 29th St. take a right, then take your first left into the complex (Midpoint Business Plaza). The picture Aaron provided is where you will turn.

If you go past 29th, you can get into the complex from Alvernon, just turn right at the Midpoint Business Plaza sign and follow the parking lot around to the east side.

Go through the gate and Arcade-in-a-Box is in the middle of the middle building (3933). Park anywhere in the lot.

So does the entrance fee guarantee “all you can handle” casuals?

Yes it does. As long as a tourney isn’t happening in that game :).

Gonna be fun!!

Said3s - 3s and ST

Bagheart: BF (=D), ST, and CvS2.

As long as I don’t have to play on any of those perfect 360 sticks… those things ruin my life (and dogs all across the world agree). If there’s enough interest in MotW, I’d like to see some competition on that front as well.

Hoping to see everyone there!

I’m down with this if it has casuals and/or is free tourney. I’m kinda strapped for cash right now.

Out of curiousity, how many set-ups will there be and how will the tourneys be run (i.e. double elim., round robin, etc.)?

Its all good man! $2 will get you all the casuals you can handle… and we’ll have free eegees after you pay the door fee so you may be good on food too (subject to change)! Gotta love those giant party subs  V. Plus Phx doesn’t know what they’re missing out on when it comes to eegees! Our treat.

Right now were looking at 8 awesome setups throughout the shop and one of those is actually a cabinet! Double elimination for all tourneys!

Tournaments style is still a little up in the air. We will be discussing this during the week and will have a final verdict by the end of the week.

For setups there will be 8 as of right now, so a few extra for games not included on the tournament list.

Just to clarify, the entry fee is there for a reason. I’m not doing this to make money, just happy to do it for the community. The entry fee will not only cover the extra cost of Electricity, but also Some Eegees Subs and drinks/slushy stuff.

Tomorrow I will post a copy of the flyer in PDF for you all to print out and hand out if you want. We will be dropping them off to Bookmans, and Gamestops around town here in Tucson.

Hey Ed, you might wanna put up some flyers in Play n Trade stores as well. I don’t know if you’re familiar with that company but they growing FAST and there are 3 of em open in town so far and i know at least one more thats being built out. The locations are:

1.) Inside Foothills Mall
2.) Grant and Swan
3.) At the El Con Mall

I know all of the owners so if you have any questions or anything, just let me know.

Thanks Abe! Actually we were already going to do so. I forgot to tell you Play N Trade is my Pima clubs sponsor (along with AIAB) and I was actually going to hitem up tomorrow.

Thanks for the heads up. I forgot about play n trade.

O, that’s cool! Which location? I was the Store Manager of the Foothills location for over a year. That store used to be the top-earning PNT in the whole country. It probably still is. Lol!

The entrance fee is very understandable, especially now since there is going to be some Eegees there.

Its the El Con location. They helped us out with any consoles, games, and gift cards to winners that we needed. PnT has been a great help to the club.

And of course AIAB has been a great help as well!

ill be there. danny (dreamvision602) - put me down for MvC2, ST, and DR if you have it.

ill probably throw down some DR on a casual since we got more setups than games. Be nice to see a DR scene again…
and plus ya never know if theres enough ppl signed up for a tourney we’ll run it.

And that reminds me! Hey Aaron2 we got MotW now and could possibly have it up for casuals on the 15th! It was my first time playing it and I must say Ed and I had a difficult time getting back to work because of it lol.

I’m in. put me down for
Street Fighter 3: Third Strike
-Super Street Fighter 2 turbo
-Marvel vs Capcom 2
