Seems to work for me.
Thats not a blockstring.
You can be reversaled with almost anything before 6A ater 2A on block.
I must be playing against terrible people then(it is ranked…), because they never do.
What I dont think you realize is , playing people offline is much different just as playing people of a higher caliber is different. Just because you get something on someone sometimes does NOT mean it works. They just might not know that you can be reversaled.
The reason I say that is…
Lets say your fighting another arakune this is theoretically speaking.
they block your 2A then you try to do 6A… 5D will win against 6A and guess what you just lost on that option because now your cursed.
these are things that can happen to you if 2A is blocked and your going into 6A. Sometimes these option can and will work if you hit with 2A.
1.) Thrown out of 6A
2.) Launched
3.) Super reversaled
4.) 720’d by tager…
and so on you decide , find a way to use it for okizeme purposes. Not to mention what you said above is not a block string in no way at all. What you posted seem to be more of a pressure Oki… considering in three points of that setup you can be punished hard , if your opponent sees the opening.
I guess part of the problem is all I can do is play online, with essentially no local competition. (Alright, there’s a Noel/Rachel player whose on a Madcatz fightpad and another guy on pad that plays pretty much everyone, and only the former even knows what dustloop.com is).
Also, after the 2A it seems like 5B is safe, and if they block it or get hit by it I can jump out of it and do j.D, or a dive, or even maybe just not jump and 5D after the 5B…
I’ve got a combo which I think may be character specific but I’m not sure, so far I’ve confirmed it working on Jin but not on Noel (but lag may have interfered with the Noel so I’m not certain, Jin is certain since it was red in training mode)

Sorry if these have been posted before or have better equivilents that do the same thing, just figured them out in training and figured I may as well post them, if nothing else it’s probably easier to pull off online then the stuff that requires timing on the bugs.

If any of you experienced Arakune players have some decent cinematography skill and the necessary equipment, I think Arakune is complex enough to possibly need some instructional video. Not just of the gameplay, I mean like watching hands on an arcade stick do the combo. I cannot get some of theses combos down (6C > 5C > 2C > ]CB bugs[ x N; j.236C loops with bug resets). I know I’m not the only one struggling through these. If a kind soul could take some time I’m sure it’d be appreciated community wide.

I think simply putting a normal video in slow motion and perhaps having just one showing all the bug varients and the notifications needed to summon them would be enough, spend quite a bit of time mashing pause on some of the existing videos to see what is happening and it really helped, so proper slow motion would be very helpfull. (I think you can play them like that in replay mode not sure)
In fact I’ve just downloaded that combo video set to “Fake Me” from youtube, going to fire up windows movie maker to see if I can do that, do you think the origional poster will mind as long as I link the slow motion version back to his and give him credit? (if it is possible)
(of course people would actualy have to want it, does anyone actualy want it slowed down?)

Ah if you want that you’ll probably need someone else, I’m a noob to arakune myself so slowing down the video so you can see what is actualy happening is the best I can do atm.
I’ll stick a megaupload link up in a few minutes since that way it won’t get out anywhere that it would be spotted easily without the owners consent and I left the credits in, if it ends up on youtube with those little comments in explaining it further I accept no responsibility 
(I will also take it down if there are any complaints)

Ah thanks, only just picked Arakune up as a sub so I’m sure they’ll be very helpful.
(I’ll finish uploading the slowed down video mentioned before anyway though since it did come in pretty handy in understanding how Arakune’s moves comboed when I was mashing pause and the slowed down version is obviously much smoother then mashing pause)
I would advise to ask someone who has proof of playing and being good. There are a few of us around here.
But heres a tip with arakune combos. negative edging the bugs is the way to go.

Im curious I always ask everyone this. explain your method doing the 6C loop into 5B 6A bug?
Because yours looks really clean haha , I have a more sloppy method not to mention it looks much more sloppy but it works haha. But I have really crazy oki after my method.
