This year didt turn out the way i thought it would , im a major fan of the street fighter series and a pretty serious ST / SFHD player. so i thought …hmm SF4 should be fun finally a new installment this should be interesting.
Usually when someone is as big a fan of a series they arent even objective when they decide if they like it or not , they usually just speak on behalf of theyr fanboyism. Most of the time they’ve made up their mind that the game/film/series in question rocks way before it comes out. So for me to say that SF4 is a less entertaining game says a lot.
I’ve never been a fan of SNK games untill …well now.
Gameplaywise i think KOFXII is a way better game , its better balanced , there is less randomness. The CC system is a way better approach for turning a fight than the Ultra. (at least it rewards the attacking player as well as the one that recieves damage were as the ultra meter only rewards the one that takes damage. and it is harder to activate a CC with a counterhit than an ultra).
The pace is also important , KofXII is a way faster paced game than the slower SF4 , this is just a matter of taste really , but the wierd jump arcs of SF4 makes jumpins easier to punish and the jump arcs in generall does not look or feel right. Im aware that the kof games has had a vide variety of jumps techniques in previous games , but im really seeing now that it allows for a way better mixup in the gameplay.
If Arcsys can, they would make every character a loli with a token Litchi in there to keep boob fans in. I expect at least another two more lolis and three more bishis for the sequel to blazblue to somehow sneak in there.

I think the main problem is that SNK players want capcom players to get into something that they…
1#) Do not understand how to play.
2#) Have passed judgement on based on online play.
3#) Do not really want to put time and effort into…ie: losing while learning.
4#) Do not want the spotlight to come away from or pull players away from SFIV.
Create your own KOF communities and stop debating and pleading with exstream capcom right sided support groups about the greatness of KOF.
SRK is for Street Fighter. The people on this site prove that to be true time and time again.
We need to go and get are own web communities to support SNK. Period.
For ppl who have PS3’s here, is the online playable or not? Sum ppl on the forum say it’s crap, most of those only have 360’s, one person said as long as the ur ping/locations r good, u should have a gg. WHAT IS THE VERDICT FOR KOFXII ONLINE FOR PS3? I’ll likely get it if it’s decent, otherwise, $60 for training mode doesn’t seem nearly worth it.
