Anyone play Fighter's Destiny for the N64?

This game would make the perfect “secret game” at a tourney, lol :wgrin:

I also remeber trying to beat that cow…lol.

I played this game a ton back in '98, and I fucking hate it. The only reason I got it was because I only had an N64 at the time, and this was the only thing close to a decent fighter. The grappling system frustrated the hell out of me. I did play it enough to unlock all of the hidden characters, but man… I would never play this game now.

:rofl::rofl::rofl: Imagine the looks on all the players’ faces when they realized they’d be playing this game.

Uh oh. We may have to organize the first
secret game" FD tourney :wonder:

I would so do a SFIV tourney with a FD side pot.

A ninja named ninja is clearly the best thing about the game. Wait…no a fighting cow named Mou or something. That’s the best part.

Yea i remeber this wack game…

LOL me either…

That would be awesome! lol

This game was godlike. My friend lost my copy. Stupid friend. I told him to burn in hell.

Im gonna see if my N64 works and then ebay it. Boro/ Ushi ftw.

Using Ryuji.

DB+B (if I remember right).

“KNOCKDOWN! 3 POINTS WON!”

Or using Pierre and doing either B,B,A or A,A,B (if I remember that right as well).

“KNOCKDOWN! 3 POINTS WON!”

I managed to beat the Joker once by a hair, I was so friggin’ happy, and then I landed on Joker again and got my ass beat.

Fucking Joker.

Nah, Dual Heroes gameplay took the cake, game actually had many cool things and features (like its being a switchable hybrid of both fighting and wrestling), and good motion capture; that is but small roster, lowres textures and graphical problems kinda killed the game. Some time ago I made a guide on it, with lists of combos, moves, gameplay features and unlockables, if someone needs it I can upload it

You can actually, with emulators. You can swap out all the textures and force the game to render at hi-def. In fact for most popular games there are already texture packs done. I’m not into this shit so I don’t know where you can get them.

FD is a pretty good game. I got the ROM for Wii64. I’m using either a GameCube controller or Wiimote with Nunchuck. The mechanic involves movements and either two buttons. It may be a clone game based on Street Fighter and Fighting Layers. Love the narrations. It gives a nostalgic feeling. I struggle on the Record Attack and Master Challenge. Even if I put it on Easy it’s still difficult but I continue to practice. I play as either Boro or Ryuji. I also have FD2 and my favorite is both Saeki and Ninja. Practicing to compete on Master Challenge. 1 skill at a time and working my way up to the top.
