is this the game you can play either 2d or 3d?
In what way? Note: I played and got used to the second game first so that probably affects my opinion.

I remember being SO excited to play FD2, but something just seemed, i dunno, like a step back.

Figther’s Destiny was pretty darn nice. Had some cool ideas like the point system and the engine was pretty well thought out IMO.
I still remember Abdul’s “I’M DEH HEEEEEEEEEERRRROOO!”

I love the Fighter’s Destiny games for the N64. I now have both for the system. I loved the throw/grapple system, since you could have the chance to make a comeback etc. The point system was a refreshing take on how to win a match.
Man I would love to see a FD3 on Wii!
Ok so its seems that there is some interest in talk about the game… has anyone know the tiers in FD1? i know that Joker and the cow are almost broken, but the normal chars?
I played some more last night and just love this game. I was learning all the moves for Leon and got all but 1 master and no Jokers! I was so happy! I thought that I was about to unlock every move. Next match is with the Joker and guess what? I lose haha.
All my moves disappear and I have to start over, but it is still way too much fun. Every character is fun to play (except Ryuji…an exact clone of Ryu rofl) Pierre was fun to taunt with.

Your nose would get bigger and bigger and then explode on the 6th or 7th one. I mean his nose got HUGE!
I so want to make Fighter’s Destiny 3. If I start to program games for the masses I will be making a FD tribute 
Hmmm, I don’t know. A quick search didn’t bring up anything. It was kinda balanced in a way since noone has super overpowered besides the unlockables. Everyone had a pretty equal chance to win because of the unique system.
I want to know this also.
HAHA! I loved when I did this. Half the time I would open up a match with a counter move so I had a chance to hear that.
Other classic lines include…
“COME ON! LET’S DO IT!”
“YOU NEED TO FIGHT HARDER!”
And Abdul’s “I FEE SO GOOOOOOT!”
Counters were pretty crazy in that game. Also I remember some people could land Specials when the opponent isn’t dazed.
Gah! Joker used to give me fits when I played that game.
One of the better 64 fighters, but (as mentioned in another post) Mace was better, imo.
No, thats Flying Dragon, part of the horrible Hiryu no Ken Densetsu saga.
Man it disappoints me that there’s really no way to “update” games like this. I mean there are old PC games getting modded still, but all these ancient console games are just kind of left to float.
Oh man I played that game so much even though it was so bad. It was like the only game I had growing up.

Game was pretty fun though. I used to play Meiling, Pierre and Joker.
I remember liking the first FD a lot more as well, but I was like 12 or 13 and didn’t understand fighting games anyway.
