I’m liking the second CP with all the characters
Thanks truck, that’s actually the one i decided on. my side panels on the cabinet are going to be orange with the main cabinet being white. i will be using 6 orange buttons and 2 white for each player. the only thing now is deciding what color to make the outline of the buttons. in the pic above it is a shade of grey which i think looks good. but i’m open to suggestions that might look better. thanks again
Yo that’s going to be sick, like the color scheme for the Comic-Con edition TE, but they had two yellow instead of two white buttons. Can’t wait to see pics when it’s finished
Maybe just create mockups of what orange, white, and maybe yellow borders would look like, and just decide which one looks best.
thanks for the feed back truck
Any chance youd be willing to share the files for this artwork? Id love to apply that CPO to my control panel
sure, i’ll upload the psd file when i get home from work. it’s rather large so i can’t email it.
heres the link to the art you requested. sorry about the huge file size.
Finally worked on the art for my Kray Cab. Let me know what you guys think of the marquee. I know the character portraits don’t go with CE, I just needed some that were somewhat facing each other.
Kray with FPS?
Hi Guys. Sorry for what’s probably a very basic question but… with the standard Kray button layout (joystick, 8 major buttons + 2 on the side (x2 for the V4), plus the two up top) can this be wired to play typical shooter games on a PS3 where you would use both PS3 controller sticks to rotate your body and look about? I’m about to start wiring mine in a week or so and it occured to me that it may not work for that type of game. Any thoughts? Thanks very much!
You would need to wire the D-pad to one joystick and then an analog stick to another joystick? I don’t think the buttons would be a problem, just the wiring up of the analog stick(s). Sounds like it could be done, but just doesn’t sound practical. It would be interesting to see how someone would manage to play an FPS on joystick though.
You couldn’t use it with standard microswitch joysticks though. Your best bet would be finding a way to hook up yoke style analog sticks like those found on the Star Wars Trilogy or War: Final Assault arcade machines. Those types of sticks would be worthless for fighting games though in case you had a desire to play those as well.

Thanks both of you - those are some badass looking sticks there! I may have to think about this one…
Just my opinion, but I feel like the Champion Edition should be bigger, almost even touching the border. Also, I don’t like Guile looking like he’s on the same camp as Balrog and Zangief haha
Thanks for the input. There is actually a reason for the choice of characters. I play 1p side while my brother plays on the 2p side. These characters represent the characters we play the most in ST. I like it, it personalizes it quite a bit I think. He asked that I swap out Sagat for Blanka, which is good since Blanka’s hair doesn’t really work in the original. I swapped Evil Ryu in as well to go along with my theory that Ryu is really just a bully that travels the globe picking fights, just a joke I’ve had for a while. The white dot above Sagat is simply the screw hole from the template. I left it on to make sure I was lined up properly when fixing to the plexi. I’ve already printed and put this in. I think it came out great, but thanks again for the recommendation.
NO pics…didn’t happen! : P
Does anyone here have the Vewlix or Kraylix PSD/PNG file for the regular & slim Kraylix control panel/marquee?
Apologies for the noob question…
How did you guys mount the joysticks onto the control panel? Kray informed me that he used wooden screws, but how exactly would one manage to make the screws go underneath while not showing on top of the plexi. I’ve heard that using a countersink drill and bit could work, but I’m a complete novice at all of this and don’t want to wreck the Kraylix I’ve only changed sticks on a TE and HRAPs. Any assistance you guys could provide including links to items I should purchase from Lowes/Home Depot would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
You would just mount the sticks into the control panel by using woodscrews…Then print out a control panel overlay will cover the screws, then put the plexi on top.
I did mine a little different this time around w/ my viewlix slims. Instead of just using wood screws i decided to just drill a hole down the middle & use a wingnut to tighten it up at the bottom. Here is a top/bottom pic so you can visualize what i did.

picked my v4 2 player up on Saturday. just waiting on my paint guns to be delivered so I can start painting. Should be here next week. In the mean time I am doing bondo and sanding. I’m super excited about getting started.
Hey guys anyone ever used a coin door on an xbox 360 setup? Is it possible?
