if you mean getting the coin door to register that coins are being put in before it allows the game to be played i don’t think so. I’ll be putting a bucket behind the coin door and make my friends pay to play lol
Lol. That way you would make some of the money that was spent to build your cab. Well i was just curious to know if it was even possible. Some one at my job told me he’s been to the mall where they have an arcade setup with an xbox 360 in it, but the only difference was you would use dollars instead of coins.
If you’re going to paint it yourself, I’ve found that Glidden Door and Trim paint is one of the most forgiving paints out there. It’s gel based and will leave no brush strokes. It’s also very glossy and easy to clean. It’s not cheap, but it beats trying various water and oil based paints and trying over and over to get a decent finish. I can tell you that from my experience painting a Vewlix cabinet. The black is also much darker than other brands that I’ve tried.
If you put a coat of primer, it will be an even easier job.
The only downside is that it’s only available in a limited number of colors.

Guys anyone by chance know the dimensions for kray’s marquee, command box (move list area) and control panel? I’m getting ready to have the artwork print out and want to make sure it’s in the right size. Thanks!!
I’m actually using automotive paint to paint it. Kray and I discussed his method of painting in detail when I picked up my system on Saturday. So my brother in law and I are prepping it for paint this week and since he paints cars as a living he’s going to paint the cabinet for me while showing me a thing or two.
If you used the photoshop template that Kray has then everything is already to scale. I just printed my artwork last night at the fed ex print shop near me. All she did was put the flash drive in, open the photoshop file, she saved it as a photoshop pdf file and printed it out. If i recall it was 32.01 by 21.09 or something around there. the 32 and 21 are correct for sure. I’ll be putting up some pics of my artwork in the cabinet in a few minutes.
So here’s a few pics of the cabinet with the artwork in it. I wasn’t patient enough to wait until it was painted so decided to at least put the artwork in to see how it looks. Let me know what you think. Thanks

I like it looks pretty sweet. I have been working on the street fighter x tekken theme it’s been a challenge,Lol. My cab will be here Thursday i’ll be posting pix once i’m done putting it together. thanks for the info on dimensions bro.

I have 2 Viewlix Half slims…it’s basically the viewlix slim without the monitor hatch. I just wanted the base without having to be restricted to a particular monitor size.

so my cabinet is going to be orange on the side panels and white up the middle. which of the following do you guys thing i should get as far as seating goes. both seats orange, both white, or 1 of each. thanks for your thoughts in advance.

Yeah i just want the template w/ the red Vewlix overlay & marquee so i can take it to the store & print it out for my slims…The slim is a different layout though as you can see has the start button at the end & i only have 6 buttons…Let me know if you can help me out…

The brown leather ottoman’s are way more comfortable but a little bit high for candy cabs…I just need 1 more white cuz just 1 is just weird…Been waiting over 2months now & still no stock…If you know an alternate site that would be awesome…
