To be honest that sounds like a great idea Kray should definitely try something like this!
Maybe this is what you have in mind a half V4? This would be would wide engouh to use as a desk with the bank CP.

Here is an update to my cab. I posted this cab awhile back with the TEās. I had pre ordered 2 PS360 PCBās from Focus Attack about 10 months ago, but just got sick and tired of waiting, so I just gutted my TEās and installed into the CP. Iām willing to sell the shells for the TEās if anyone is interested. I have 12 Seimitsu smoke snap in buttons too if anyone is interested. Iāll probably end up wanting to get rid of these Seimitsu screw in buttons and joystick I have on the CP also. I realized that there is nothing like the feel of Sanwa, IMO. Hit me up.

These are Round 2 TEās with a black acrylic plexi from Artās Hobbies. I disposed of the original art/plexi. No buttons, and no joystick, but did leave the mounting plate. Everything was well takin care of too. What do you guys think would be a fair asking price for these gutted TE shells? They were not heavily used either, so they still look new and fresh. The holes on the bottom plate are were drilled to widen them out for mounting though. ALSO LOOKING TO GET RID OF THE V3 TE CONTROL PANEL IF ANYONE IS INTERESTED. I have no need for it anymore.
Curious can you fit a computer tower and a 360 at the same time in one of these?
Yeah, I was able to fit my tower along with my 360. The tower was kind of a pain in the ass to get in though.

It was a standard size tower I used for a build last year. I was actually thinking about getting one of those slim/compact designs from dell just to save space. That new Alienware x51 looks nice. Itās the same size of the ps3/360, and pretty damn powerful too for its size. I just donāt know if I want to shell out more cash anytime soon though. Check it out.

I am looking to get a v4 2 player cabinet but I am torn between painting it myself or having Kray paint it for me. To anyone who has received one and painted it themselves, what kind of paint did you use and what was the process like (ie. did you have to sand, prime, then paint or just paint no sanding involved, etc.)? Thanks in advance for your responses.
If you can afford it & want a professional looking cabinet then definitely go with Kray painting it for youā¦He does an amazing job!
If you planning to do this yourself, there is quite a lot of stuff to doā¦I did it myself & was lots of trial & errorā¦Also weather was a big factor for meā¦Despite not having the best looking cab, im still quite happy of the results. You will need to do lots n lots of sandingā¦But if you look thru this thread lots of amazing cabs which a majority did themselvesā¦

thanks for the quick reply. what kind of paint did you use? was it just regular spray paint or something special/unique? thanks again for the help. I would love to go with having Kray paint it for me but the cost for that is a bit out of my range. i have done some wood/paint work myself but never worked with MDF. I figured the money that I would spend on getting it painted I can use to purchase my buttons, joysticks, ps360 pcb, and paint/supplies. I just wish there was a thread/partial guide to painting the cabinet on your own.

Just got done messing around with what I want to do as far as Cabinet art is concerned. I have 2 final versions to choose from so tell me what you think of them. The marquee and movelist are final, itās the control panel I am undecided on. Thanks for the feedback.
