That’s exactly the monitor I want to use for it! It’s currently the monitor I use for my home PC and I wanted to get another for a custom built arcade system. Seriously, awesome! I know you are busy with the current 32" version, but when you do get to the smaller version you can consider one sold for sure! Awesome!
Yeah a 23" would be cool, if possible try to incorporate a way to be able to switch to vertical…

I recently had a small set-back with my cab designs. I special ordered a El Panel that I will be adding to go underneath my Control Panel and light it up. They read my e-mail wrong and sent me the panel in centimeters rather than inches. LOL! I could’nt get mad…it was the cutest thing ever.

The idea with this panel is to back light my art which is printed on photo back light film. (same stuff used at the movie theaters)

when painting the cabinet, do you guys sand by hand or with a power sander?
By Hand I used a power for first sand an first prime but after that … Get ready for a full time job of sanding lol
Looking very nice rcaido and ludikun! I’m getting ready to order mine next week. I’m wondering what type of paint you used on these? They almost look like they are made of plastic rather than wood. I have access to a paint booth at an auto body shop so any tips info would be greatly appreciated before I paint. My other question I’m struggling with is should I get the TE version or the 2 player control panel? I want to run 360/PC/PS3 on my cab so if I get the TE version people can just bring whatever stick over plug it in and use it. I really like how the 2 player control panel looks I’m just wondering how much extra time and $ would it cost me to put parts in the control panel and what would I need to do to make the control panel compatible with both consoles and the PC?

Man go with the 2-player control panel, i never liked the look of putting two TE stick together…Might as well just use a regular tv. I still have to re-paint mine during the summer, rain/cold weather. Everyone so far that posted theirs looks so damn professional, mine is so ghetto looking…

I’ve always felt this way too. I don’t know why someone would want the cab without the built-in panel. The two TE’s doesn’t look nearly as nice.
I went with the TE panel for a couple of reasons. My cab functions as an xbox and mame machine. I wanted to be able to use my trackball controller for those arcade games that required them. I also have no clue or experience on how to padhack controllers. Down the line I do plan on getting another panel from Kray, dedicated for fighting games, because I agree it certainly completes the image for the cabinet.
