I had the very first jordans. but I grew out of them and threw them away cuz of that. i was 11 or 12 years old i think. plus the 1st Jordans were ugly as hell cuz I hated that they were red and black…which was cool but what made em ugly in my mind was the white rubber sole part. that should have been tinted red, imo. anyway, but I had them.
had no idea they would be worth money by now. woulda kept em in its box n shit. instead of actually wearing them.

got 3 pairs… the 6’s (mj’s first championship), 11 space jams (for the movie), and the 13’s (mj’s last championship). 6’s and 13’s are in original colorways (ones mike wore at games). only the 13’s have been worn. these are my dress shoes, saving the other two for a special occasion.
What I get confused by is when someone says they’re a collector, buys them, wears them, and then gets furious when someone accidentally steps on said expensive shoes as if they were expecting something they’re wearing on their god damn feet ain’t gonna get dirty one day.
They don’t get dirty if u clean them when u get home and no player haters step on em.
