i currently got 7600 bp and climbing. Currently im #4 hakan in us on the psn :rock: maybe for other characters bp is not so much important. but i think for hakan its a pretty good indicator of someone who really knows and understands the character and how to win with hakan because winning is certainly not easy…you really gotta work for it.
im beginning to understand most of the match ups…certain ones i completely dominate and certain characters i just completely falter…but thx to this forum i kno how to use him pretty well! :clapdos:
I’m B+, just got there recently. Relatively low BP though, I think 5 or 6k? But I almost never play on ranked, I don’t think playing a single game against random people is very fun. When I play online, it’s almost always on endless against people I already know.
Got any videos? I’d like to see how to fight without using lp oil slide as an anti-air. It seems like it would be very hard. Also, anyone that can get a B+ with Hakan with so few BP has got to be someone to emulate.
I use FA as my primary AA unless it’s a jump that will clearly not reach me and then I react with oil slide… I don’t want to hijack the thread, but what primary AA do you guys use?
It’s not your traditional aa but I use 360p or U1 as aa. Its dangerous to jump in a blocking hakan who has a burning U1. People tend to jump in alot wen they see u r not using u2. …big fucking mistake!
I’m hanging around 7800 BP; I have good days and bad. If I had something better than a Madcatz fightpad, I might be a little better. I’m starting to hate that thing. Hate the seemingly random reading of my inputs. Anybody try the Hori fightpad? Is it worth getting for the superior D-pad?
I want to try that… what sort of timing do you need on using 360P as an AA? I’m guessing the range is dependant on whether or not you are oiled and/or use EX?
I’m at 9500 and tonight ill have b+ rank. Just a month ago I had no clue how to use hakan. Loss after loss I learned everything I needed to learn to become a better player. Now I’m looking to overthrow the number #1 rank hakan in the world on psn heheheh. Next stop. …my hakan at evo
You would use the blocking animation to buffer the the 360. Being oiled has better results, else EX works well. Be quick when buffering 720. A problem that I have now and then is that I aim for a U1 but end up doing EX.
Approaching 15000 bp…it took a lot to get here (smashing controller on the ground…cursing god…punching the wall…on the verge of tears…going insane) but it was worth sticking with him!
I’m actually jealous of you Hakans with high BP. I have around 4000 PP with my Hakan, and only around 5000 BP with him. Damn BP takes so long to raise.
Wildcat just got to 20000 BP and has an A+. Also, Real, 4000 pp is damn good. The most I’ve had is 3200 and the highest PP I see from people who main Hakan is around 3500 or so. Well, in Japan there’s Wildcat (more than 5000 BP) and a couple others with 4000 pp. In the U.S. 4000 pp is about as high as you get with Hakan mains in the top 100 BP category. I’m sure your defense is vastly superior to mine, as I haven’t even mastered OS tech throws (although I am able to do it with some regularity now). My Hakan is improving. I can probably get to 3300-3500 with some effort, and if I don’t let my bro’ visit and use my account :). My BP is at about 8500.
