All 2D Japanese fighting games are anime fighters.
i know that, but thought the game was still too “young” to be mentioned.
i can’t really reply on this since i don’t play johnny and i don’t know enough about him.
but in my experience with the game (as eddie) no matter if you are the chaser or the zoner being chased, the ranges and angles are a key factor in every second of the match.
for example one of the best things (if not THE best) to do with eddie’s drills is to whiff them right infront of the opposing character (ofcourse i need to change my attack pattern to be in the exact right range for it). the drill prevents them from acting/moving forward AND you don’t risk being reversaled or flicked or whatever. testament can punish that whiff with a super but not if i made him waste his tension on FD or DAA… attacking, predicting, meter management and spacing are all there in one big mixture effecting on eachother.
there’s also a specific range vs jam where it’s safe to whiff 214s (and you can react to IADs and running) AND at that range the 214s counters regular puffballs attempts for a nice juicy CH combo.
i’m sure you can find those little “sweetspots” as well even in the johnny vs venom matchup…
Arc needs to quit fucking around and make a Shadow Skill game…
Fixed
why cant we all just play efz
…after some youtubing TT, I can say this with a clear heart: Damn you…for getting me hooked on a new series. cranks Bomb A Head
^^^^^
How’s the netplay?
For the positional thing between GG type engines and more poking oriented fighters is not that position isn’t as important it’s that since you have so many options they tend to be more forgiving for improper spacing.
In SFII you don’t have dashing, much less air dashing, ability to jump from throws, instant blocking, or Green block like GG which all allow you to set up a desired space far easier than walking, jumping, and poking as your only options. Meaning that it’s harder to get out of your opponents optimal range which regardless of the game is where your most likely to get fucked up by your opponent.
guys check out this sweet new fighting game it looks like anime and has sick air combos and five million bars on the screen
You made my day.
i know what you really want, woof
efz owns
do combos games suck
Ba-dum tish
No need to worry. The anime is fucking terrible. Manga is nicely drawn though! It would probably also be great material for a game. I think I’d play a Shadow Skill fighter over it though, especially if Arc did it.
pray you dont have wireless
The problem is…I watched the first ep, and I like it. The other problem: no torrents available without registering and I have no idea where to do that.
It’s because anime dorks suck at everything and can’t be bothered to hone any skills beside having a tragically encyclopedic knowledge of all things inane and pointless.
You have to admit that the Natsume sisters look awesome in the anime though XD
