I was in my Barns & Nobels the other day and a volume of Alita Battle Angel. Flipped through it and it looks pretty hype. In hardcover format as well. Once I finish buying some other mangas I may have to ordering those from Amazon. I plan to watch the movie first, which I’ve heard nothing but good things about.
All of that sounds super interesting but at risk of sounding like a dingus, what does V R V stand for??
No idea, it is owned by the same company as Crunchyroll, Otter Media, who recently were purchased by AT&T. It basically a bundle of nerd-ish video media that they previously partnered with other services, so Crunchyroll and HIDIVE for anime (both for subbed and dubbed),the horror themed movies and show service called Shudder, Mondo, Cartoon Hangover, Boomerang and Rooster Teeth. Previously Nerdist, Mubi, Funimation and others were part of it but left or were removed.
Damn RIP Monkey Punch.
Anybody watched “the devil is a part-timer” ? Is it good? Watched two videos and looks fun. Is it long? I just read that it stopped at season 1, but the manga is still going on.
I watched it yeeeeeaaaarrrrs ago. I thought it was hilarious, personally.
I enjoyed the parts where the knight acted like a bitter ex. Otherwise meh.
Devils a part timer is pretty damn funny, a few action scenes here and there but most of it is comedy. Good if u just wanna get a few laughs outta the show. Its only13 eps so pretty quick to get through. Wish there’d be a 2nd season though
Devil is a part timer is hilarious, the plot is meh other then lmao stuff like the hero or the main character’s obsession with trying to advance through the show’s McDonald stand in.
Also if you end up liking Part Timer I also recommend “I Couldn’t Become a Hero, So I Reluctantly Decided to Get a Job.”
It’s ridiculously funny too, imo.
Thanks everybody. If it is that short I’ll check it out.
The one I recommended is super short too. 12 episodes.
I’ll keep it in mind, too, thanks
The Devil is a Party Time is freaking hilarious. The anime is only 13 episodes but there is Light Novels and manga. English translations by Yen Press are up to volume 13. Not sure where Yen Press is at with the Light Novels currently.
I liked the big tiddy parts in Devil if Part Timer.
At least in the anime there are not too many of those. Like two female characters with any major amount of screen time. One is of the ‘sempai loving’ younger Co worker variety and the other is the mysterious land lady. Won’t lie I still smile thinking of the funny swimsuit post card gag.
Is Mob available to torrent somewhere?
I’ll need to watch Jojo pt 5 even though I read up to 8 lol
Anime ain’t the same no mo but I read SO much manga
Yeah, I don’t think a day passes where I don’t read at least a little bit of some manga. And as always, check tokyotosho.info
