What is this?
Fruits Basket comparison.
Another hit and run screenshot only post by Kuro lol
Ni No Kuni movie. Looks like an original story too. It actually looks more interesting than part 2 of the game.
Haven’t watched much Index since I last posted since I get easily distracted, but I finished the Slime anime and liked it. Could have had better pacing in the second half, and the last couple episodes were pretty weak. Still keeping up with Shield Hero, and will make the effort to keep up with OPM and Fruits Basket this season.
Did anyone watch Yakusoku no Neverland? It aired this winter and has glowing reviews all over. I don’t keep up with anime as much, and am otherwise oblivious to everything, but I guess it’s something I should prioritize. Getting a Shinsekai Yori vibe from what little I’ve read.
I don’t watch it but I read Neverland. I’m actually not even current though. I wouldn’t really compare it to shinsekai. There is the aspect of the world being a mystery to these sheltered kids but the similarities stop there.
There’s a lot of people that really like it of course but I dunno, I’m going to keep reading it but it’s never high priority for me
Kaguya-sama; Ishigami
Index 3 is finished, I need something else to watch someone throw something at me (@Gasararki)
Watch Kimetsu no Yaiba
It has Deku from My Hero Academia who becomes a samurai and tries to save his sister who’s turned into Necalli.
I started reading black torch. Lol it’s so Shonen I love it.
Boy from a ninja clan gets involved with a spirit in the form of a cat. Other spirits are after the cat to use as a weapon I think. Boy dies and has to merge with the spirit then has to work for the Japanese governments unit that gets rid of spirits… Also from ninja clans
I dunno dude, haven’t watched anime in a year bro lol, mostly watching jdramas lately. I will definitely watch season 2 of the Mob Psycho 100 anime soon though, and if you never watched season 1 I highly, highly recommend it.
Real talk is it even worth getting a subscription for Crunchyroll, cuz I can get a smooth ad free experience by streaming it from my comp but with the advantage of adblock eating the constant ads.
If it bothers you I’d just torrent it.
pfff… I’d do that anyway. I’m just saying if they provide the so-called luxury of using the CR app on a TV, then what’s the motivator to give them more money, since they always like to push that option? I can get an ad free experience via an adblock’d browser. I just always thought the business model was weird.
Well, the thing they always try to sell fans is that some of the money at least goes towards the creators. But it’s not that simple. Even from a service perspective their apps fucking suck. Paying for it gets 1080p, no ads and some other stuff but you can just look at the comparison if you want all the details.
They need a harder sell than that when all of it can be deflected with “I can probably watch this on Netflix”. Le yikes.
Fuck Crunchyroll. They don’t deserve the support.
I saw on Netflix there was a jdrama of Mob Psycho. It peeped my interest a little, but then I figured I’d prob get disappointed since the anime set the bar so damn high. I don’t think anything the jdrama does can match all the crazy Sakuga in the anime. I mean I can just imagine the psychic battles with shitty ass sfx already lol
Mob Psycho is definitely a treat though, people be fucking up by passing up on it.
I like hi dive interface more than crunchy roll. If it’s service was more widely available I would give them a few dollars.
Crunchyroll by itself… I can’t recommend. However, I got myself hooked on VRV which is basically Crunchy with a few other sub services in a subpar GUI. The loss of Funimation and Drama Fever sucks but it is still a good deal. HIDIVE is on it now and it has a ton of old school sci-fi anime stuff including the old anime for Legend of Galactic Heroes, it’s Gaiden and the movie. I am slowly binging my way through the Gaiden content after which I plan on watching Patlabor.
If I remember right getting VRV is basically getting Crunchyroll premium as well if you link the accounts even if the original account was a free one. I wouldn’t recommend Crunchyroll by itself but VRV is great for me.
Edit: The app is trash, has crashed on my TV more then once but I also use Roku devices so that may play into it. I would test it out before committing if it sounds up your ally.
I haven’t watched it either but I’ve only heard bad things like I guess the story is way worse and more by the books
