I know some people like Tiger&Bunny/ZETMAN here, so you should check out the Astral Chain trailer, totally feels like some kind of alt universe combination of the two. Same designer as those two.

Just watched my first Ghibli film, Nausicaa. Liked it. Not perfect but earns the praise it gets. And yeah I know, ACKSHULLY its not a Ghibli film, but still.
Also making actual progress through the Index and Railgun shows, it’s great, especially the Sisters arc.
Besides that, keeping up with Shield Hero and Slime, and nothing else this season.

The ‘Alita: Battle Angel’ movie wasn’t complete garbage. I was very surprised. It’s basically an adaptation of the anime adaptation (in terms of there being many of the same characters and plot lines that don’t exist in the manga) with a little Motorball and some suspect romantic dialog thrown in.

I’ve seen DVDs of Captain Harlock on the shelves over the years but never picked them up. Recently I found out Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing hardcovers of the manga and I ordered vol. 1. Vol. 2 should be arriving soon.

As much as I don’t care too much for shield hero, I’m kind of not happy with the little bitches complaining about how him owning a slave, and removing the anime from the anime awards altogether. Man talk about SJWs ruining everything. Even in anime. Just like how CR took peoples money last year to make a shit anime, high guardian spice.
As for battle angel, theres only 2 people I trust on movie reviews, chris stuckmann and jeremy jahns, and both said battle angel was a good movie.
Why would Shield Hero be in contention for the anime awards? The show started airing this season.

Finally saw Dragon Ball Super: Broly. Dang, that movie was lit AF. Really good animation, killer fight scenes and even some heart string tugging moments. I chuckled when Goku was trying to use Talk no Justu on Broly. I was like “Goku, bro, you ain’t Naruto. That’s not gonna work.”

The thing I saw was after episode 1 of Shield Hero was the feminist article that came out pandering it.
What is Shield Hero?
This season’s isekai anime. There’s a lot of small elements in the series that rustled a few jimmies like the main character being falsely accused of rape, gaining a negative perception of women as a result of it (mainly an issue with the manga and light novel not the anime) and having a slave.

its not just that, its people bitching that he has a slave, even though he doesn’t force her to do anything. Im sure they had a mental break down about goblin slayer also, with the goblin rape scene. Even though I also don’t care to much for goblin slayer, since its just a berserk want to be.
