Anybody still mostly torrent their anime, or have streaming sites killed all that off?
I stream my anime. I haven’t had the need to torrent any anime for a long time. Unless you want the Blu-Ray version of a show there’s no point.
There are folk that still do it but they are a extreme minority. Even if you are unwilling to pay for one of the major streaming platforms and see the anime they snag, there are a ton of sights that just put the streams up you can view for free. Having to download and convert anime files seems unnecessary unless you are pirating a home release.
Sadly modern toku shows has yet to become that readily available.
Kind of figured, thanks. I’m just a little dissatisfied with video quality and buffering problems with some of the streaming sites I’ve been using, particularly Crunchyroll.
There use to be a few sites around that had Toku stuff (old and new) it was how I was able to was Ressha Sentai ToQger and Uchu Sentai Kyurangrr but they got taken down.

There are still series every season that either don’t have official subs or are attached to crappy services so I have still been doing it. I haven’t watched any anime at all in over a year though. Mob Psycho S2 will probably put an end to that though lol

Yeah. I think the last animes I watched were Citrus and Megalo Box.
Had a pretty long day of flying on Friday so I checked out ΛLDNOΛH.ZERO. I was intrigued enough by the first two eps to continue it through the first season. Overall, I’ve liked what I have seen.
Thanks! I am going to have to check these out later tonight.
On Aldnoah.Zero, I loved the start of that series but the back half sadly doesn’t live up to the promise of the first few episodes.

Started watching Domestic Girlfriend, which seems a little harem anime-ish, except it starts off with the main character already having had sex with one of the girls.
Jesus picked up Highschool DxD from Amazon for free and man haven’t seen a straight Harem bait show in ages.
The manga basically turns into a soap opera. Not sure I really recommend it honestly. It starts off interesting but it still falls into a lot of annoying tropes.

I’m almost done reading Cutie Honey. Despite how old it is, I’m liking it a lot, cheesy dialog and all.
I picked up JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Crusaders books 9 and 10 so I’ve finally completed the first three manga story arcs. I probably should finish watching the anime of Stardust Crusaders since I’m yet to start reading any of my JoJo manga.
I wrapped up the anime How Not to Summon a Demon Lord. Enjoyable stuff with a few unexpected twists at the end as well as some expected ones. Would definitely love to see the story continue so I’ll guess I’ll be grabbing the manga at some point.
Out of curiosity, I picked up Blade of the Immortal Omnibus sometime last year. The art style really intrigued me. Haven’t started reading it yet but my manga collection is missing more manga with swords.
