Anime & Manga Thread v.5 FAQ/IRC: See OP. Welcome to 2017

i guess this is what we get for the creator trying to make a semi happy ending. nigga only knows how to do sadness.

[spoiler=]Yuri’s death forced Akane to harden up and her faith in the sybil system began to drop. She rely more on her own abilities then letting Sybil do all the heavy lifting[/details]

Saying said nigga a sad nigga?

God that lesbian chick was useless, literally a useless character. She did nothing of importance the entire series, she never even said anything. Kind of blows my mind.

Other than that good, series, 8.2/10, ending could of been better. I’m sure there will be an ova.

which lesbian lol.

the black haired one, not the chick in the lab coat. I’m not sure why they even gave her a back story episode, not like they gave her any screen time after that.

i honestly got confused by that episode cause i didnt think it was the same girl. since she looked semi important for a hot second.

Same chick in my avatar. Her backstory was meaningless as was some of the earlier episodes like Spooky Boogey. I mentioned it in my big spoiler thought. Going back to chicks, I like that Akane switched to dress pants and an unbutton blazer. The blazer without the popped collar shirt is not conforming to proper dress code making her look like she runs the team with her own rules, as well as dress pants making her appear more independent, which she clearly is. In other words, she is now boss.

FYI Yayoi’s the lesbian. Shion’s a bisexual, since she’s so open to fuck anyone. The only good thing out of this is potential doujins, but that’s unlikely since they haven’t got a lot of screen time nor are they moe enough for the perverted artists.

Spooky Boogey episodes weren’t entirely meaningless. Makishima was introduced in those episodes.

Yeah except we didn’t need spooky boogey nor the virtual world episodes for Makishima to exist.

Those episodes were a solid introduction to his character.

Madoka Magica had a semi-happy ending too.

^ Bittersweet ending, but this time it’s like he tried to go for all happy while keeping it as appropriate as possible.

I used to think that too, but they dwelled on that case of identity theft for a bit long given how it had no influence on the show later on. The case itself, not the characters. It could’ve been a different case to intro Makishima.

I understand you’re trying to get the point across that they needed a way to introduce Makishima, and I’m saying that of all ways to do so, they went with a solution that didn’t later have an impact on the story, when it was probably possible to.

Spookey Boogey episodes also provided some introspective into Akane’s and Kogami’s characters probably. It’s been so long since I’ve last seen them so specific examples would be way beyond me for now (there was that little Alice in Wonderland online tea party talk type thing for one).

Not every episode needs to push the main plot forward in order to have value. World building episodes is just as important.

That’s fine if you feel that way. I still feel they could have accomplished the same goal differently.

[details=Spoiler]God damn it, Kodaka. Mother fucking Sena confesses to you IN FRONT OF EVERYONE and you run off like a child. Rika’s face said it all: extreme disappointment. Yozora looked like she was about to freak out, so that’s good. Fuck Yozora.

I was actually pretty shocked Sena just suddenly confessed like that. It kind of came out of left field, considering last episode when Kodaka pretty much acknowledged he knew how everyone felt about him. I figured the subject would’ve been done with, although I guess there had to be some sort of drama before the last episode. Not like any of this fucking matters since everything will be resolved next episode and Kodaka won’t pick anyone, leaving everything the way it was before lolol. SMH.[/details]

Watched the Nanoha A’s movie while waiting for the latest Sasami episode to finish downloading, only to find that the latest Jojo episode had gotten released by the end of it. Then while getting Jojo #24, the last SSY episode pops up as well. Godlike timing.
