So far this Summer I haven’t watched any new anime. Instead, I’ve been re-watching some older shows I liked. Outlaw Star, Martian Successor Nadesico, Gundam 0083, and Slayers to name a few. I wanted to try watching Attack on Titan, but I keep hearing really mixed reviews.
The first episode is all you need to make up your mind about Titan. I think most of the hate it gets is just because it’s whats hot right now. People just like to hate on whats popular because it makes em look cool or some shit.
Fair enough, same shit happened with SAO. I’ll get a stream when I get off work. In the meantime I’ve got Black Lagoon: Roberta’s Blood Trail calling to me.
I more of this Lupin, and this portrayal of these characters, and this art style, and this music, and this writing.
I can only wish that they somehow decide or get a chance to keep on with this rebooted Lupin and produce another season at the least.
I will admit, they really made me think that they were getting a bit crazy, then they were totally like “Nah, it isn’t really that ridiculous, don’t worry” at the end and gave me some relief.

[]Yasaburo meets up with Yashiro, who tells his older brother of the difficulties he has in dealing with Akadama. When Yasaburo stops by to visit Akadama, he manages to get his mentor to go to the neighborhood bathhouse for a bath. Yaichiro also goes along with his younger brothers, as well.
[]At the bathhouse, Kinkaku and Ginkaku (along with their entourage) stop by and try to get Yaichiro to drop out of the Nise-emon election against Soun, but Yaichiro doesn’t back down.
[]Kinkaku tells Yaichiro about some info regarding Soichiro’s last whereabouts, prior to meeting his fate at the hands of the Friday Fellows. The Shimogamo brothers trio are surprised to find out that the 2nd brother, Yajiro, is likely responsible for Soichiro’s fate.
[]Yaichiro and Yasaburo meet up with Yajiro at the well and the eldest brother recalls the fateful day before asking the 2nd brother about his POV on that day’s events. Yajiro confirms what Kinkaku had said earlier that evening.

That was a picturesque scene at the beginning, with the leaves blowing around in the wind due to Benten’s actions and Yasaburo looking on.
Poor, Yashiro… having to put up with Akadama’s antics because Yasaburo skipped town. Yashiro needs some hazard pay for what he has to put up with, lol.
tengu wind bluff stuffs, indeed. If Akadama still had the fujin raijin folding fan though…
The mentor/disciple relationship back-and-forth stuffs continues.
Apparently, Yaichiro is running a one-man campaign for Nise-emon and is doing quite well for himself.
WTFLOL @ the iron underwear antics of Kinkaku and Ginkaku.
It will be interesting to see how that fateful day’s events play out in the next episode.
“As long as you live, there’s no way to escape saying good-bye.” Such a sad statement, indeed.
Yeah, there are two things to not like about the first season of Kingdom: Xin yelling constantly for the first half, and the jokeworthy CG. The fact that it’s still really good in spite of those things is pretty impressive.
I watched the first episode and I thought it was very good. Do I think it is the best thing since slice bread like the IMDB score suggests? Nope but it still seems really good.
For those who have seen Episode 18 of Attack on Titan
For those who made it to episode 18 of Attack on Titan
[details=Spoiler] Isn’t it just so fucked up how the Captain sent his main troops in the middle of the forest so they would die and allow the others to live? That was his big plan, but he didn’t tell the people behind him that they were going in the forest to die because they probably wouldn’t follow him then
Smh at dat leadership, I was like :O, Eren better pull something out his ass or the squad is getting annihilated(well maybe except the Captain guy I think) [/details]
Got Koihime Musou seasons 1,2 and 3 in the mail today. Even better, Got Psychic Squad, which, prior to a week and a half ago I had no idea existed. I think “psychic squad” is a kind of lame name for “Zettai Karen Children” but I guess you have to sneak stuff pass the jack booted prudes who hate having children express themselves. The problem now is I’m running out of shelf space. My dioarama of Guts chasing down Hatsune Miku Kagami as Hatsune Miku sings and Kagami laughs is effectively ruined. I had to rearrange it…but its not the same.
I watched ninja scroll again, last time I watched it was like 10 years ago I think. The main plot is soooo similar to jojo’s bizarre adventure its not even funny. Why can anime now adays have bad ass action with blood and guts flying everywhere like it used to in the early 90s
http://www.imdb.com/video/imdb/vi1554186521/ man this anime used to give me nightmares the first time i watched. Oh ya what if your sister is adopted. Or you were adopted and you thought your mom was hot?
Finally finished Yuyushiki even in fear of it ever ending. Love is over. I need a replacement comedy that I can leisurely go through. Might start YuruYuri or Hidamari Sketch, I think those would be pretty good to fill the gap.
