Yeah that ep was kinda okay seriously you found like 4 other mechs who besides the slightly obvious will pilot them? Also no one man army makes this ep sad and sheesh if a high school colony declares independence they would be alot of hentai made out of it!
The censoring is starting to get on my nerves in AoT.
Spoiler
the scene with dead franz lost a ton of shock value as they did a really shitty job of showing his lack of lower body. Made me do the soul eater âtchâ face and all.
And after last weeks episode I donât even care about oreimo anymore. I had no interest in watching this weeks ep, think Iâm done with it. Guess Iâm down to 2 series.
your probably right, from the beginning shouko and haruto just rubbed me the wrong way, i dont like them. and its the characters that make the anime, âŚbut i will continue to watch, cause like i said, I like the one man army.
That anime was perhaps one of the best Iâve watched. It did literally everything. At times, it didnât take itself seriously and was humurous; at other times emotional as hell, and HUGE character development.
I love how the whole series just revolves around âSCREW PHYSICSâ and doesnât shy away from how impossible it is.
Donât know why people hate the ending, the ending was pretty godlike. One of the better endings actually. Would consider Eureka 7 Aoâs ending to be terrible.
Thereâs a second episode too, but it ainât on youtube. Shouldnât be hard to track down anyway
EDIT:
Gen said Gargantiaâs gonna feel pretty different to his past works apparently, itâs meant to be inspire and cheer those entering adulthood to enter the workforce. I wouldnât be surprised if nothing much happened at all and it just wound up being one of those feel good type show lol Then again, he did try to troll everyone into thinking Madoka was going to be some fluffly and happy magical girl showâŚ
Some people didnât like the ending of the series because the entire premise of the show was âdo the impossibleâ, but then it became âdo the impossible⌠except when it comes to saving your girlfriend from dying.â Rubbed people the wrong way, myself include. To me, it cheapened everything about the show.
Somehow I am not surprised Ken34 likes L-Elf and his absurd super human powers.
Well it wasnât only do the impossible; but it was also the whole âRemember your mortalityâ undertone that was present throughout the series. I honestly loved every second of the show; and I usually hate mecha anime for the most part (besides regular Eureka 7; twas godlike)
I actually didnât like Nia throughout the entire series. I just felt like her death was completely pointless and a cop out to make the ending sad or whatever when it totally didnât need to be.
I think the bigger slut in the show would be Gurren. Throughout the series it is constantly getting drilled by Simon via Lagann and on many occasions even becomes one with a plethora of other gunmen (in order to satisfy itâs thirst and lust for a bigger drill I might add). This isnât even mentioning how many other spirals it has constantly allowed to go to town inside of itself either. That big universal slut, Gurren.
Yet none of you idiots who are all WAAAAAH WHY YOU NOT DO IMPOSSIBLE THIS TIME are so hung up on a fucking catchphrase that you ignore that all kinds of other shit that could be backtracked if that was really what it was all about. It cheapens the show if you were too dumb to get what it was about in the first place.
Except I canât remember any foreshadowing about Nia dying like that at all, if sheâd died in battle or something itâs be understandable, but welp, daddyâs dead so I guess sheâll shuffle off the mortal coil for no apparent reason and no-one will do any spiral power bullshit to stop this thing thatâs happening slowly enough to plan and carry out a wedding through was a little weird.
(Correct me if Iâm wrong on the no-warning bit, but if I am remembering rightly that does sound a bit cheap)
