So watched Evangelion 3.33
I pretty much had no idea what was going on for the vast majority of the movie. Likeā¦I sort of got the gist of itā¦butā¦all of the stuff that you didnāt understand, but accepted anyway because you figure it will get explained later from the first couple of movies has just kept piling up, youāre going to have to explain this shit eventually you know. I also felt it was the most visually confusingā¦likeā¦some of the action scenesā¦which felt kind of few and far between were really dizzying, like it was hard to tell what was going on. I mean, there is a point where they make a ābig revealā of the world as it is nowā¦and I donāt even know what Iām looking at. I guess its supposed to be bad.
The more I think about it, more and more things donāt make sense.
Hell, even the basics of storytelling seem to be lost on me. What are the various groups fighting for? What is the main conflict of this story? Was the conflict even resolved? How? Which side am I supposed to be identifying with?
Definitely not as enjoyable as the first two movies.

Iāve already read the manga (waiting till 12 May for next chapter), so I say to those who havenāt read it and are watching the anime: You still havenāt seen anything yet.
For Suisen no Gargantia to have an ero artist doing its character designs, there certainly is an odd lack of service in the show. WHERE IS THE OPPAI?! That aside, anyone else getting mad Xenogears kind of vibes from the show? The technology is pretty close to the steam punk kind of technology that mostly present in the Xenogears universe, especially with how everyone is on big, rusty looking ships (reminds me of the big barge).
I think the only thing I dislike about Shingeki no Kyojin is the attempts at comic relief. While they can be funny sometimes, the seriesās often very serious nature makes them really jarring, especially since the comic relief scenes come so suddenly. Itās not a huge complaint, but itās just kind of weird.
Agree fully with the humour thing.
