Usually shows will find a reasonable cut-off point and leave things off there. Then come back and continue it later with a second season or something. The only time you get horribad endings is when they have no intention of making more anime out of it, so the anime writers make up some bullshit that theyâre able to end things on. Sometimes that bullshit is good, but itâs rare that actual good bullshit is made in that case.
They probably wonât resort to that with Attack on Titan since judging from itâs popularity theyâd definitely want to make more than 25 episodes of this.
Itâs just in eps 3,

Sheâs all clueless and has zero idea about the Sisters Project at all. But yet in Index Iâm pretty sure she was all up in Accelerators face for killing off most of them as training dummies or target practice or whatever.
The only saving grace for Oreimo is to have Kirino fall into a pit of despair and become a Hikkikomori that we never ever see again. She can enjoy all the eroge she wants to her hearts content and we wonât have to deal with her stuck-up ungratefulness.

Attack on Titan, Gargantia alongside Raligun seem to be whats hot. Aku no Hana if you like dark psychological type shows and donât mind putting up with an unconventional art-style.
Railgun(the manga) started as a prequel of Index but currently is on material adapted by season 2 of Index. This season depicts everything between her finding out about the clones and Touma knocking Accelerator out(a lot more than what Index showed).
