Hmm. I wonder if the fakeness has to do with being positive towards most anime or is it something else?
Also, for most people, anime blogs aren’t read for the episode reviews, it’s just a way to see screencaps of the episode before watching it/gets subbed.
You’ll probably be happy with Mirai Nikki that’s airing next season.
Fair enough. My initial reaction was that that can’t be true just by the way she’s acted toward the brothers and such, plus you have to be pretty “brave” in a sense to be a stalker at all. But yeah looking at it that way I agree.
Manga is pretty awesome, the ending is decent, though some thought it was worthless.
It’s the blind positivity and the fact that nobody really states their opinions on anything. They’re so careful not to offend that it just starts to be fake. I’ve noticed this alot myself throughout the many years I’ve been on various anime forums and even participated it when I was younger =/
True, but it doesn’t make those those blogs any less worthless, more so if that’s the ONLY reason people are visiting.
It’s fun to watch, but a lot of the stuff in it is your typical slapstick and nonsense style of humour that you’d usually find in such parodies. Not exactly a bad thing per say, but just putting it out there in case you were expecting something ground-breaking as hell lol.
People who like TypeMoon epecially the Tsukihime and Fate/Stay characters would probably enjoy this, since this is the only chance that they get to legitimately be out of character whilst pushing their own individual little character quirks to pretty extreme lengths.
But with that said, i don’t think it’s not necessarily required to be a TypeMoon expert in order to to enjoy this at all. I barely even remember/know half the Tsukihime characters and yet it still makes me laugh.
If no one hears a doorbell or sees a box, they would have never even noticed I put Dead Master on an empty glass shelf…
Boom, doorbells rings and everyone flips out hen I unbox BGS.
Yeah knowing the stuff definitely helps. I barely ever actually found episode 2 to be funny though, pretty disappointing imo.
Lol, I used to do the exact same thing you do, but I got really lazy about posting pictures. SRK didn’t allow embedding at the time, but on a different forum I used to even have the same format.
I don’t mind posting pictures at all. I’ve done it so often I’m used to doing it.
When I put Dead Master on the glass wall shelf that’s hanging on the center wall of the living, none of my family members noticed it. Mom didn’t know until she went into the basement and saw the box it came in (it’s fucking huge so you can’t possibly miss that lol). Fast forward two days (today), mother tells father about it and he flips out how I spent a large sum of money on it. Coinicidentally, the doorbells rings and the same mailman brings me BGS. Get it now? heh.
Anyone want to recommend me a good, short(ish) anime to start off with? I’ve had a look through the lists in the first three posts but I really haven’t a clue what to start with.
I’ve seen Elfen Lied, and watched a few of Bleach but I stopped because of the ridiculously daunting amount of episodes lol. I really don’t know what genre, probably action/adventure is the best. Something similar to Bleach would be good, only shorter Thanks!
Not too big on those, but you’d probably enjoy Soul Eater. 51 eps is long, but it’s nothing compared to the 300+ of the big three.
Boku no Pico is another good one.
