How is She, The Ultimate Weapon? I saw a preview vid of it on youtube and it didn’t seem that engaging but the whole series can be bought for 20$
While I am a huge fan of Alita, I was looking for Mecha Musume and trying to avoid the whole cyborg thing.
In other genres, anyway else love Spice & Wolf? I absolutely loved the show. (and this is even considering I watched the dubbed version)
In fact my sale thread in the trading forum is to fund buying flowers for a friend and buying the upcoming holo figure for myself lol. (plug: go buy stuff!!)
Saikano (she the ultimate weapon) is a super depressing story. It’s like romance/sci-fi, but it is supremely depressing. I can’t say I’d recommend it to anyone unless they actually like depressing shit.
S&W is amazing and I think most of the thread agrees on that. Sexual tension, the anime lol
Being the Dynasty/Samurai Warriors/Sengoku Basara fan that I am, I decided to check out Fist of the North Star: Ken’s Rage, but I also decided to read the manga first before fully playing the game and goddamn is it good. I have to say the one thing that I enjoy out of every good thing the manga has to offer is the pacing. I know I’m late to the “party,” but better late than never right? 
It was the same for me pretty much. I was always interested, but after finishing Kenshiro’s story mode I knew I had to read the manga ASAP. I read it in like 3 days after that lol

Spice and Wolf is fucking awesome it just needs to CONTINUE!!! I need more. I demand more. Even the English release of the book is stalled on volume 3 the exact same place the Anime stopped. Like fuck, I must know what happens next!

I recently purchased Divergence Eve off ebay for 12$. Totally not worth 12$. Easily amongst the worst anime I’ve ever seen. It wouldn’t have been so bad if all the mech fighting scenes weren’t retarded CG with white backgrounds.
You could try Star Driver. That’s a pretty interesting Mech series. I need to finish it.

Cross your fingers for Brain’s Base to adapt the remainder of the Spice and Wolf novels now that they recently ended in Japan.
Star Driver was pretty cool, but I hope the BD epilogue (if SJ is right about it, anyway) episode explains what happened after the finale.
Also subs for the 1st Katte ni Kaizo (1st series by Koji Kumeta of SZS fame) OVA are out. Anyone seen it yet?

Two stories this week; the 1st being Momoka trying to make her break into the VA business, with Switch attempting to help out by letting her dub lines from “Futari wa Nervous” - a magical girl show featuring 20 year old women who are getting married and pregnant. 
Also, Nabeshin trolls his presence in another anime series.
The 2nd features a teacher trying to start a club with an odd sport named Genesis, which is an amalgamation of other sports and other absurd concepts which features wearing flippers and carrying nets with spikes attached to it. Don’t forget it’s very unique scoring system, too. Unfortunately and expectantly, that did not work out at all.

Hardly any Meme at all for you this week, SJ. Too bad! But there’s loads of Maekawa this week, so that’s not too bad. Mostly Makoto hanging around with the girls, Maekawa meeting up with the dude who fires all those bottle rockets (which leads to the rest of the cast helping him out) and near the end, Makoto and Ryuushi get to talk to each other alone. Meme’s serious expression in the end doesn’t seem good, though.
After the weekly Marvel tournament I go to about an hour away from town was done, we talked about Bible Black on the stream for about 40 minutes.
SZS sounds kind of cool. Is it?
Bible Black is awesome, though I’ve only seen the main series.
