it’s a comedy, pretty insane. Personally I liked the first season but I got tired of it by the time the sequel OVAs and series came out.
The problem with SZS is you have to be Japanese to truly enjoy it. Unless your fluent in Japanese and familiar with the last 30 years of Japanese pop culture you just won’t get a lot of the jokes. I mean, some of the stuff is pretty accessible, and it can be a nice dipstick for your weeabooty. I found the more of it I watched the worse I felt since the elation of recognizing a reference became fewer and far between. You should watch a couple of episodes so you can recognize SZS references in other anime (mainly the “I’m in despair” face sequence)
Thinking about anime references this has reminded me of Hayate no Gotoku, I haven’t read that in a while, hopefully there are a bunch of new chapters
Go watch Hayate No Gotoku instead.
…or Pani Poni Dash, that is a more accessible “wacky teacher with wacky students” anime.

I’m honestly not sure what’s there to discuss about that show for about 40 minutes. Unless it was some kind of deep, thoughtful analysis on the poor quality of the show.
Pani Poni Dash is good, it was pretty much one of the 1st series which showed the patented Shaft craziness. Even had Tommy Lee Jones (his likeness, at least) in it.
That is one of the most awkward analogies I have ever read. 
I think reading goes beyond that, though.
