4 years actually, but anyway I"m waiting until all the movies are done because 1) I don’t want to get trolled if the ending is even worse than EoE(which some people are expecting) and 2) if it IS good, then I don’t want to have to wait two years in between the 3rd and 4th movie.

It’s probably going to be another four to five years before the final Evangelion movie is even shown in theaters. I don’t even know what you niggas are waiting for. It makes as much sense as waiting for Duke Nukem Forever.

I didn’t even like Eva so waiting is easy for me on this one.
All the censoring of violence in Blood-C episode 6 totally ruined it. Need a non-censored version or a BD release. 
It’ll probably be as “good” as Duke Nukem Forever too.
Depends on how troll the ending is, I suppose. So far the movies have been pretty amazing, which can’t be said of any part of Duke Nukem Forever.

I really think you’re missing out by waiting. I would recommend those movies to people that didn’t even like Evangelion. Hell, I really liked Evangelion when I first watched it but gradually lost interest in it. The Evangelion movies have made me really enjoy it again.

in general it makes sense…when discussing series maybe 1-2 years old…4 years old is rediculous and you guys discuss spoilers about series that old or older. im not crying about any of the gundam series i havent seen.
i understand waiting on a movie to watch the series but seeing as the first one is from like 06/07 and second is 08/09…odds are the next one will be dropped in 2013/14.
But you’re gonna watch them all when they come out anyways so why does it matter… lol
Actually it makes perfect sense, if they don’t finish it, then i just won’t watch it and I won’t have wasted my time. If they do finish it, then I’ll watch it then. I didn’t even like Eva, the only reason I’m giving the movies a shot is because they are supposed to be different.
Because if it DOES have a troll/stupid/whatever the fuck ending, then I actually WON’T watch them. No point in wasting my time if it just ends up retarded.
Didn’t like Eva at all, but damn those movies sound tempting. However, I’ll hold off too. Waiting for Unicorn is bad enough, don’t feel like waiting for the Eva movies as well. Going to give Baccano another shot in the meantime.

And actually about spoilers for the Eva movies, I really don’t care personally. If it’s REALLY that good, then just like with FSN, actually experiencing the story will still be way better than knowing some facts about it
I’m likely to watch the new Eva movies eventually. A piece of my soul wants something better for Shinji, the most misunderstood hero in history, than the OOC nonsense that was End of Eva.
I stopped after 21 months. 'Twas getting monotonous, and I bore Dr. B no ill will, so I figured it ran its course. Dr. B still makes me man moist though.
