I haven’t seen the anime yet but I have the Blu-ray on pre-order; it’s due out in late June. I’m really digging the manga so far but then again I’m a zombie fanatic.

HOTD is amazing. The best thing about the anime is their interpretation of the chapters that happen in episode 9 lol

I admit, when I heard that there was a HOTD ova, I went and checked it out. It turned out to be a beach episode and you can guess what happens. Though what perplexes me is how Takashi managed to have his way with a zombie without catching anything.

yea i think once you hear there is a HOTD OVA its pretty obvious what its going to be about, lol. when you go into it knowing the premise, I think it makes it an enjoyable watch.
Been a while since I’ve been in General Discussion let alone the SRK Anime and Manga thread. Just dropping by to say hello to some familiar faces - hope all is well with everyone.
Haven’t really watched anything since Bakemonogatari and Arakawa Under the Bridge. Still read the monthly installments of Kodomo no Jikan as my guilty pleasure but that’s it. Only upcoming shows I’m looking forward to are Usagi Drop and Yuruyuri. Anything new and exciting out there I should check out?
You should not expect much sense from most series, though. Especially with one with a premise like HoTD’s.

Watch Anohana, Hansaku Iroha, Tiger & Bunny and Dororon Enma-kun for starters. But this season’s got a lot of good choices you won’t go wrong with.
If oyu liked Bake, watch Katanagatari. Same original writer, and personally I like it even more. There’s also season 2 of Arakawa and Puella Magi Madoka Magica

Action is the next best thing to come in mind, but the concept of the whole series fits the category to an extent, so…yeah.
Lots of series tend to cover a lot of categories, so it can be difficult at times to label one for 'em, haha.
