Godlike. Haven’t read it in like 2 years, hopefully it’s got a lot of chapters, though it doesn’t look like it…
Huh~ weird. Posted in this thread, and I can’t see it. x3
Curious, but what are these two shows?
Were you referring to the picture or the new look of the forum?
C’mon, man. You should be used to Gintama’s trolling by now lol. That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened one day.
So I just watched Yondemasyo, Azazel-san recently and surprisingly, it’s pretty funny. I love how warped the expressions can go, even for the demons. Speaking of the demons, it’s kind of frightening to see and hear Araragi’s voice for a crap inducing fly demon who looks like a penguin.
Also this show proves further that Yu Kobayashi is the most insane female VA in the business.
Kemonozume was the last anime series I finished, and I need more wacky animated things on my list. I hope that artist gets more acclaim for his work
and for anime movies, I suggest Paprika, its trippy, but if you wanted a nice dream-venture, this is the movie for you
this website is like a blog
do not know if want
whats the actual avatar dimensions anyway i know it says to use something 200x200 but it looks like its shrunk down to 100x100 (?)
it’s 96x96 dominos

a pictar
i couldnt figure out why anyone didnt like my last avatar either but apparently someone had a problem with it
i rarely post and its only in here, regional matchmaking, and sometimes the shooter games thread
if i had to guess someone got into trouble looking at this site during work hours and tried to take it out their nerd rage on the nearest target
either that or someone in here or the shooter thread hates me idk!
192x192 is the largest size for animated avatars.

lol, anyone watching steins;gate…? shit is actually quite fascinating if i must say so myself, lol.
Yeah, it seems pretty good so far, and it’s nice to be able to reccomend an anime to someone and legitamately say it has time traveling bananas that turn into gel into it.

I am glad I stopped watching this show.

It’s getting a bit more serious with the time travel concept than what Iduno implies, though. Nobody knows how it’ll fare till the end, but the show’s strength now relies mostly on the characters and especially Okabe’s absurdness.
Tiger and Bunny is owning my soul right now. I didn’t think I would like it when I first saw the promo, but now I’m really into it. I had a feeling that for the first few eps they would focus on certain characters. So we have Baranby’s ep, then Blue Rose, Fire Emblems ep (sort of), and now Ivans. Hopefully Dragon Kids episode would be a lot better.
Just started reading High School of the Dead. Liking it so far, but are all Yen Press books so small yet expensive?
Haha~ oh I totally didn’t expect it to be a fully comprehensive list of every single anime ever~ <3 So I’m not like upset or anything. Bubblegum Crisis and El-Hazard are two anime that I really fell in love with, and if not for Bubblegum Crisis OVA’s in the early 90’s I probably wouldn’t even be watching anime. X3
It lead to me finding my first girlfriend, and set a chain of events in my life that without it, would have never happened. So it’s kind of an important series for me. XD I highly recommend it too, for cyberpunk fans.
Speaking of which, I wonder what other good cyberpunk animes I should go watch. Anything gritty and scifi I’d really love. Especially if it’s got a lot of flair to it. Someone recommended Cyber City to me, and it looks so damn corny, but has the look down. XD

Heard this had an anime follow up? is it good?

Interesting. Been meaning to watch either for a while.
Also since you’ve mentioned Berserk in a post or two back, I’m sure you’d be interested in that they’re re-adapting the manga as a series of animated movies starting this year.

If you don’t mind reading manga, you could check out Blame! and Battle Angel Alita.
Sure you’ve seen both Ghost in the Shell TV seasons and movies, right?
Though not cyberpunk but sci-fi, lot of people like Legend of the Galactic Heroes. Check up on the links at the OP if you’d want, too.
hi im gc and what is this website
Can anyone give a list of good 2010/2011 animes (good as in must-watch or something around there)? I know gasa helped me with this but I didn’t keep track of the list, sorry.

Well:
From 2010:
Katanagatari
Arakawa Under the Bridge
Soredemo Machi wa Mawattieru
Panty and Stocking with Garterbelt
Shinryaku! Ika Musume
Durarara!! (though 1st half was in '09, I think)
Tantei Opera Milky Holmes
Bungaku Shojo (movie)
Winter 2011:
Puella Magi Madoka Magica
Wandering Son
Level E
If you want this season’s stuff, you won’t go wrong with:
Hanasaku Iroha
Anohana
Tiger and Bunny
Sket Dance
Dororon Enma-kun
X-Men
Denpa Onna
Nichijou
Oh and there’s still the catchup on Gintama, we’re already 8 episodes in the new series, lol.
Buuut if you wanna start bit by bit; watch Katanagatari and follow Anohana or Hanasaku Iroha at the moment.

Anime for Highschool of the Dead? It was pretty decent. It pretty much follows the manga up to right before they get to the mall/shopping center and then leaves it open for a second season. There are some minor changes here and there. Animation is done by Madhouse, so you know the animation is going to be good. There’s also some hilarious things they do with some of the action scenes (boobs jiggling in bullet time).
I’d give it a watch if you’re a fan of the manga.
