I lurked around this thread awhile back (im new to anime) and I saw a bunch of people talk highly about Eureka 7 so I decided to check it out. Thank you to all who said good things about it because this anime is awesome :tup:. On episode 14 right now and it keeps getting better.
Can anyone recommend a good anime that is darker? Not quite the level of darkness as something like Elfen Lied though. I like dark stuff, but burtalizing puppies is just a bit much for me to stomach.

Kaiji is pretty dark, but there’s no English dub. Hmm, Mononoke(not Princess Mononoke), Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica, Kemonozume, Haibane Renmei(kinda dark towards the end, Eng dub.), Kurozuka, Shigurui, Basilisk(I think has Eng dubs?), and Hellsing Ultimate OVAs(has Eng, but series isn’t complete yet.)
And too bad they made a mixup and sent in one of their doujins as canon material.
One Outs is probably something you’ll enjoy a lot.

Even though it was pretty depressing I liked Blassreiter alot and the soundtrack is indeed godlike. Considering the staff on hand(Gen Urobuchi, Niθ, and Norihiko Hibino) I actually thought Blassreiter would have been alot more popular

im curious having never had any sake before. how many different kinds of sake are there? because i heard there is sake like beer (i dont drink beer) and im not sure but is there sake thats like strong liqour? like 40% or somethinbg along those lines. i dont do 35% - drinks unless they are mixed. rather have quality liqour.
anybody here drink sake?
Wating for Usagi Drop anime. If the 1st season does good, hopefully it will get a 2nd season for the time skip. I expect the live action movie to make me cry manly tears.
