Double the denpa.

Denpa Onna 11 and 12

Spoiler

11 mostly focused on Maekawa for the 1st half of the episode, with her inviting Makoto to her place; and the 2nd half with Ryuushi inviting Makoto to her basketball game. Ultimately, with his reminder of how he was during the soccer club when he was younger and some talk with Yashiro in proving ESP powers, he encourages Ryuushi to make the winning shot and succeeds in doing so.

Continuing the sport motif, episode 12 returns the cast back into the baseball field with Maekawa’s father running off due to pressure playing against Hanazawa. In comes in Meme as the team’s baseball coach (with 0 knowledge of baseball) and lets Erio play (which with luck, managed to work). Makoto brings in Maekawa’s dad and Meme orders Makoto to be the batter. With some likely supernatural force alongside his own confidence, he manages to hit a home run.

And…well, that’s it.

Now to wait for the DVD only episode 13…in 6 months time.

Serious lack of Meme-tan in episode 11 was made up in episode 12. Meme in a baseball uniform =. Delicious. Lol at the end of the episode. I’m totally jelly of Makoto. >:[

Just wish they didn’t make the final episode a DVD only episode. Would’ve liked to see some sort of conclusion. Chances are I’m going to forget about the DVD episode six months from now. :frowning:

denpa was actually pretty bad imo, still dont get why i followed it for soo long. tried watching last 2 but couldnt finish it.

I think the reason is in your user name.

Gerd was the shit, too bad his arc was so short. After the flashback things are a bit slow but I thought the last 4 or so episodes were good. They had lots of action and I liked the ending. As for Wolf and Beatrice, I think she just seduced him. I agree there was alot of random shit and not enough stuff was explained but in the end I still enjoyed the series overall.

Anime expo is here and with it comes the usual annoucements for anime getting licensed in the US. Notable titles coming soon are Madoka and the 1st season of Kimi Ni Todoke.

Watching G Gundam for the first time. It’s a fun little series, and like 1,000,000 times better than other Gundams. My favorite Gundams are the Mexican and Canadian ones with their sombrero and toque, respectively.

Anime is still garbage though.

I can only hope the Madoka release comes in Blu-Ray… otherwise that’s a no-buy for me.

So I found this pretty well drawn fighting game themed lolicon H doujin. It’s about this guy with no friends besides his ssf online “bro” who’s contemplating killing himself, they meet up at his house one day to find out that she’s actually a 11 year old FG prodigy girl. They procede to do a position called the “anti air” and play chess(not really). It’s hilarious and kinda cute, people who don’t have morals should check it out.

Sorry don’t want to get arrested.

Anyone familiar with To Aru Majutsu no Index?

I haven’t bought anime in a long long time. I re-watched Akira, and watched my room mate’s copy of some anime about otakus. Last night, I was going through all these intro’s on cartoons I watched as a kid on youtube and came across Teknoman. After watching a minute or so on one of the battles, I am now interested in possibly buying the complete series as I’ve only actually seen maybe a few episodes as a kid. Though I know that shows I watched as a kid that I thought at the time, were good, may not seem that great at all now.

So for anyone that has watched this series can you give me your opinion if it’s worth the purchase. Further more, are there any other mecha animes that the styling is sleak and the battles are all flashy and stylish. I know about Gundam, Eva, Gasaraki, and pretty much other big names, but are there any good ones that arn’t really heard of? I remember when I first registered on this forum(2007) there was one particular one, a short, that had some awesome looking mechas, and the battle(s) were very pleasing to the eye. But I’m not sure what the title of the anime was called, the battle was in a city. Seemed like the over all atmosphere/tone was dark.

Thanks in advance for anyone answering my questions, like I said, I haven’t dipped into viewing anime in a long time.

Index is alright. I enjoyed A Certain Scientific Railgun a bit more though.

How’s the Anime Expo going?

Manja >>> Anime

Fucking 4chan faggots in the background. I swear to god every time I go to an anime con and I see those faggots running around in V masks thinking they’re being cool and relevant I want to drop a nuclear bomb on their face.

Also: lol glowsticks.

That right there is why I stopped going to anime cons. lolol

New season of anime is starting to trickle in now and so far I’ve only watched Kamisama no Memo-chou and Sacred Seven and both were surprisingly really good. I don’t really know how to describe Kamisama no Memo-chou since it doesn’t really fall into any specific genre really well. It was an amazing first episode though and I think I’ll end up following this show.

Sacred Seven has the same character designs as the Geass anime and is a supernatural action series. I thought this show was going to be ass but it was pretty good so I’ll give it a few more episodes.

o dam, new season started already? i just finished marathoning Deadman wonderland, wasn’t bad, looking forward to a sequel.

I am. What’s up?
