Episode was weird…even for this series. That was like a 20 minute conversation while taking a bath. When Shinobu want’s to talk damn does she talk. Guess it’s nice to see them make up heh. So we finally get to the issue of the story. Interested to see what transpires next.

Didn’t feel like the story moved forward that much. This episode got my hyped up more for the movie than what happens next in the series.
Finished Stein’s Gate. It’s was a solid show, but I’m not sure if it’s something that will really stick with me. The ending felt like a cop out. They should have stuck with what happened the couple episodes before.

Hoo boy, I guess AOS- is gonna get a seizure once he sees this episode.
Anyway, Hanekawa sure changed a LOT after the whole cat ordeal. She looked almost like a new character. Regardless, she’s done well taking care of Araragi’s siblings and especially regarding Karen’s recent curse. We then move on to Araragi having one of the longest bath scenes ever; and surprisingly enough, Shinobu finally shows up. With a speaking role. Buuuut, if you’re expecting that it’s Aya Hirano…it’s not. It’s actually Maaya Sakamoto sounding like Aya Hirano and talking like Horo. Regardless, she manages to tell Araragi the illness that inflicted Karen was of course, from a bee that Kaiki possesses. Interesting though, the he himself could be a supernatural anomaly. She manages to banter with him more and even offers him to get rid of his vampire powers to live a normal man’s life, but of course, he refuses. It was nice to see some development for Shinobu, though, and I actually learned that handcuffs are apparently as crunchy as potato chips.

Show is unproductive as always, but at last all the returning characters had their screen time and now we can get on with the show. Bigger little sister sounds like a hassle and Little sister seemed like an incest yandere.
But anyway, their house is dope… more crazier than Madoka’s bathroom… the ENTIRE floor was a shower space jesus. What luxury they have.[/details]

Man jumped onto Symphogear expecting it to be pretty rubbish, but it’s been a nice suprise so far, hope the 13 episode thing doesn’t screw it too badly.

funniest ep so far, i lol’d quite a bit. I love Yasuna, she’s just too silly. Need more of her and ninja girl
not sure if anyone’s watching Inu x Boku but it’s pretty decent, can’t wait to see what they do with this show
Also, just finished Mushi-shi, it was sooo good. I think I like those types of anime without a real over arching plot more than the rest

How do you rave about mushi-shi yet complain about the pacing of morestu ? something seems off to me.
I wasn’t really a big fan of that Nise 4 episode. [details=Spoiler]Aside from the fact that seeing a high school guy take a bath with a naked 8 year old 400 year old loli vampire is just a bit weird, it was basically a 15 minute fanservice scene interspersed with long bouts of conversation referencing an event we know almost nothing about. It was creepy and slightly disturbing and did absolutely nothing to move the story forward.
In fact, it feels like all 4 eps of Nise thus far have been pretty much accomplishing nothing. I mean, great, we see all the old group again, but there’s no sense of forward momentum or development.
Not to say that I don’t like watching the show–some bits of dialogue are great, and everything with Kanbaru is endlessly entertaining, but I feel like I’m watching random filler episodes just waiting to get back on track to the real story. Which has barely been hinted at.[/details]

Wtf? You don’t seem to realize that Mushishi actually had great stories, even if they are told at a slow pace.
I do realize that the story makes mushi-shi good. I also recognize that mushi-shi had a slow pace. I don’t understand how someone can rave about mushi-shi (which is slow paced) yet complain about the pace of another show (morestu). Are you understanding where I’m coming from ?
The difference is in well written slow paced shows, things still happen. Characters are grown and developed for example. In this case the slow pace becomes a benefit.
Sounds like Pirates has nothing happening. It’s slow and boring and instead of slow and interesting. It makes the slow pace become a flaw instead a benefit. The pace becomes a problem because you’re waiting for something, anything to happen.
Looks like I better watch Mushishi so I can compare it to Getting DDoS Attacked and Calling It Electronic Warfare Pirates.
