I hope they dont just forget about that and someone actually finds the bodies. The school would really to start to freak out then after discovering some dead students on campus.

I’d watch Daily lives of high school boys, if nothing else. Kill me baby is fun now and then, but I don’t enjoy it as much as I did Nichijou and now Nichibros.
I was making a list of what I’m watching, but it was pretty much everything this season, save for a few I haven’t started yet. Most of them seem ok, like Kill me baby, Rinne, Space pirates, Aquarion, but Daily lives of high school boys is probably the one I wouldn’t want to miss, personally. Sure is a lot of space and mecha this season, though.

so did Symphogear turn out to be fairly good? Should I check it out?
It depends if you like decently animated action scenes and Nana Mizuki singing in almost every episode. As for the characters? That might take a while. The only standout character of the bunch is

But there is hope for some character development.
Symphogear is only 13 episodes though. I think this is gonna be one of those shows that has a lot of potential but the pacing is gonna kill it. Hopefully it has better pacing than
Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin though. Now that show had the potential to be pretty great but they really fucked up with it.
The thing about Occult Academy is that it is very clear that the writers didn’t have any ideas about how they were going to go about the show after the fourth episode. Thats why it dicks around after that until the last three episodes where at that point they just wanted to end the show. It wasn’t pacing issues, it was that they did mostly nothing to do with moving the story along till the last minute.
Where in Symphogear, they are pretty blatant in what they do. This show had to be rewritten because the original story was too long for a one-cour anime. So what they are doing, from what the direction im seeing, is making sure the major events are shown while getting in as much action as they can while other events that arent all that coherent at the time, are either later explained or expanded on at some other time. Because of this though, the character interaction suffers. Some of the motivations are kinda rushed for the sake of just getting them out there so the story can move along.
For me I’m fine with it because it showcases a lot of action that is actually shown on screen. Not that shounen style talking while moves are being done, slowing down time to explain the moves or show the characters react to them. It utilizes the medium to show me things instead of obstructing me with talking at length. Plus for the plot of the show, it leaves me with enough light amount of foreshadowing to conjecture what could probably happen next at some point. Yeah I got some gripes with the show such as the tone whiplash, budget issues, lame looking grunts (noise), and some of the foreshadowing could use more buildup for better payoff but I’ve seen much worse, much less ambitious, much less eventful, and many other “action” shows that don’t have much action in it that takes advantage of the anime medium.
