Don’t care so much about the Bandai thing, fools were trying to sell series in 3 volumes of just the basic DVDs at £45 a pop per volume over here whilst Funimation were giving us whole series, sometimes even with both the Blu-rays and DVDs included for £30 a pop right off the bat, and NISA were doing half a series for around £40-£50 (that’s including shipping out of the US) with Blu-rays, DVDs and an artbook, heres hoping that they sell off the licences for the shows they’ve had to cancel rather than just squatting on them in case they ever decide to get back into DVD releases.
Since Bandai has nothing to do with the uS Madoka releases (AFAIK), I don’t really care. It’s unfortunate to see US licensing branches go down though.

I liked how crazy Hibiki looked after she got into her Symphogear right at the end. Should we expect some carnage the next episode? Sure hope so. Also, lol at the flashy title cards for each move.

It was love at first sight. Or snooze, rather.
A look of curiosity envelops the creature.

Now we meet the family. First, the younger brother, Hide.
Guess he’s allergic to hairballs.
Then the father, Sato, voiced by Akira Kamiya.
Hide is such a bully.
But channeling the power of Kenshiro, Sato disciplines his son in treating the creature with further respect.
Is this a scornful look of gratitude I see?
Next we see more of Poyo’s qualities, like having super speed. (And almost pulling off a Neco Arc and firing a beam off his eyes.)
And able to leap high onto bookshelves

One thing’s for sure, though, the ladies sure do love him.

lol beaten my mere seconds.
I liked Symphogear. Yeah the plot hasn’t been fully established but it seems rather apparent that they were trying to get the setting and premise down before going into the story. It had actual action and it has a bleak tone because of how the episode began. There’s some gripes that I have with the show including trolling me with Kanade, but I’ve seen worse shows and what I’ve seen so far I;ll take it for what it is for now cause managed to present its hook in a way that actually makes me want to watch the next episode to see where it will end up.
Space Pirates was pretty boring. Like there was nothing happening till the last two minutes of the episode. Get some events going already. Do stuff. Fire Chiaki Omigawa.
High School DxD was pretty lame. I read some of the manga (Light novel is the source material) before time and it was pretty boring. But show is aggressively lame There’s also crazy fanservice in this show. Flailing breasts everywhere.

Symphogear 1: I expected this to be alot lighter from the synopsis I read about a week ago but it’s not. We got fools getting killed left and right. I’m actually curious to see where this series is headed.
Time for some Milky Holmes. It’ll probably be awful like the first season but as long as we get more Arsene I can deal with it.
