ichipoo, reborn is for girls.
Persona 4, in general
Spoiler
Because of this, I’m afraid that the series might end up repetitive real fast. Hopefully it won’t end up (character intro)-(TV World)-(meet shadow)-(beat shadow)-repeat. The game slowed the pace with long dungeon crawls and social links, but, of course, it depends on how long the series will run.
Is there any solid info on how many episodes Persona 4 will run?
You’re not alone… I think they’re going to connect the end of 2nd season with the 3rd for about 10 episodes before finally getting going lol
Started Mirai Nikki and Guilty Crown…
goddamn I love redjuice. You guys know who that is, right?
I don’t think anyone else here does, aside from me and devastator
I know who redjuice is but I’m a giant perv that likes to collect pictures
His most popular picture is probably the Hatsune Miku (World is Mine) that got a figure made out of it… though I like the rest of his other work more than that one to be honest.
I didn’t read the novels, the anime just seemed random as fuck. I hate it when an anime takes a dump on the original story. If the Index movie won’t be relevant to the plot then I’ll probably treat it like random filler.
Not really, but it was great nonetheless. Next one will probably be boring from the looks of it. I was hoping for the situation to escalate, like the transition from Dragonball to Dragonball Z, but I guess this way the story is easier to stretch out. Anyways, at the end of the day, fighting games save the world, so I can’t be mad.
the anime is just great.
high-5 regarding picture collecting haha.
The Love is War Miku? Seen the DX version? Thing’s nuts! I know redjuice for his cyborg girls… I bought an artbook and a drawing of hus was on the cover…

Dat angered face… it’s drawn so damn well!
Anybody still have anime on VHS tapes?
Aside from nostalgic purposes of 240 and 480i quality of VHS, you can do funny shit with the tape reels to fuck up the colors and sound. I managed to make some DBZ and Slayers tapes into an acid trip, Shit’s mad funny tho.
lol Anime on VHS. Never again.
SJ can’t live without his super hi def tits.
so many memories of my 1st anime on vhs, akria, ninja scroll, guyver, Iria, DBZ history of Trunks
lol anime in hi-def. stick to 19" Crt’s, they have deeper colors than a $500+ plasma or LCD tv. plus high-definition brings out the flaws in the lines.
er, unless you’re watching HD anime
It’s like you’re saying it’s wrong to like HD titties.
Hahaha. No. Seriously… I’ve been watching HD anime on my HDTV and surround system for years and it looks amazing, especially 1080p BDs. I wouldn’t be able to watch anime any other way at this point.
Hear, hear!
No, I’m just mad that companies are sacrificing story for fan service.
It’s like:
Guy 1: This manga is complicated as fuck, how do we convey this complex story?
Guy 2: Story?
Guy 1: Well yea, this shit got awards and shit.
Guy 2: Does anyone care about that shit?
Manager: Just make her tits bigger.
Guys 1 and 2: Brilliant.
I tried watching C3 and couldn’t bare it. Compared to most of the stuff I sat through, it didn’t seem bad. But the formulaic anime/manga elements in rapid succession stimulated my NOPE gland. That maid-ish childhood friend came in with soup and the very moment bluehair started being an un-instigated bitch to her, I dropped it.
That doesn’t really happen, dude. If the show’s source material has fanservice, then the show itself is going to fanservice. They not gonna fuck up a story just to show it. Less so if the source material “got awards and shit” They just just gonna show the fanservice that was already there in the source material.
Theres lots more to worry about for an adaptation in terms of pacing, tone, and making sure plot points/character interaction are established so the story stays coherent and has impact. Rather than worrying about mindless fanservice that was already going to be shown regardless, since bad pacing and bad setup is what fucks up anime adaptations so much that you would want to look at the original manga/light novel/whatever.
