They were working just fine the other day. I had not done anything to them before I started having problems with them. I switched the amp to 7 channel speakers and did a sound test on each speaker. Sure enough the left/right front speakers were not working for some reason; everything else worked fine. I’ve determined that the problem is not MPC, but thanks for the help anyways.
The new Last Exile was really solid and I think for a starting episode it was on par with Last Exile 1. I think Gonzo knows it has to start off strong and maintain consistency with Last Exile otherwise they’re done as an animation company.
Guilty Crown has some really amazing production values. The story is cliched though but the execution was fine. I don’t really like the male protagonist but it’s still really early to tell.
I hope Guilty Crown will redirect Production I.G. to greatness they enjoyed up until the early-mid 2000’s. They’ve been troubled financially in recent times, and it seemed like they hit a low point after getting cut off from Namco Bandai for making a Tales opening (for very good reasons) then releasing Blood-C, which was probably the worst thing they have created in years - although the root cause of the evil was CLAMP dictating so much creative control over that project.
Have then been doing a bad job on the Tails openings as of late?
Production I.G. has always made the OP for Tales games, but they have been sort of lackluster looking in the past several games. Then for Tales of Xillia, the honor went to Ufotable (and all the anime cuts including the OP look amazing).
Ah that was a cool opening. I like that it wasn’t just a stupid music video like they usually are. To bad it probably wont come out here, or if it does it will be so much later, no one will care anymore or they’ll gimp it some or just basically break the hearts of Tales fans because Namco clearly hates them.
Speaking of Production I.G. didn’t they make BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend’s opening? I thought that was pretty well done, except the song, but other than that, that should be a good boost for them as well along with Guilty Crown assuming that goes well.

I seem to remember reading that the anime tells the light novel to fuck off at one point or another so naturally I assume we’re on a completely different path to the light novels now. If so it seems like JC Staff has just dun goofed big time. Srsly, wtf is all this shit with Shana 3 :wasted:
The problem is that in season 2, JC Staff started deviating from the source material. For season 3 they chose to retcon all anime-only content, stay accurate to the LNs and act like all the viewers are going to be on the same page. It’s already troubling for people that don’t remember much of the series after that long gap. I remember begging for Shana III back when I finished S2. I don’t even care anymore.
Apparently, that Index movie is going to be JC Staff original content too…

Thank you so much for that link. Ever since onemanga and mangatoshokan pretty much went under I basically stopped reading manga aside from One Piece. Sites such as mangafox and mangareader always end up giving me virus alerts or just full blown viruses so I’ve been avoiding them for quite some time. Now I finally have a chance to catch up on a shitload of manga

Well, Kagura takes the whole cellphone thing a bit too far in the start Even sending messages while Shinpachi’s in the bathroom…and knowing his poop, for some reason. Turns out the cellphones belong to a sinister man named Death Cancer who turns out to be not so sinister and is just a barber with a claw, and whom got into cellphones after his talkative wife told him to express himself better with it. Eventually, the trio managed to deliver the cellphones back and strengthen their bond in the process.
Also all those text messages from everyone when Gintoki didn’t send his message properly were funny as hell. Especially Katsura’s.
Watched 1st two eps of Bento. Wasn’t as wacky as i initially anticipated (i.e Arakawa and Cromartie levels of crazy) which was a little disappointing but it’s still pretty fun to watch nonetheless as something braindead that you can just switch your brain off and go lol. As long as it doesn’t devolve into pointless panty flashing or strip fighting (say like Ikki Tousen for example) I think i could dig it.
Thanks for shedding some light on the matter. I have my doubts on the index movie too but w/e it could just be like those DBZ movies and have next to no relevance to main series at all.
Seems like the front right/left channel of my amp is dead, hence my audio problems. Gonna have to find a solution so I can watch anime in a non-poverty way again. Getting another amp doesn’t seem plausible any time soon.
