Blood-C finale was violent, as expected. Overall, the series was an okay action series, but the pacing was pretty bad. The fact that they waited eleven episodes for the big plot reveal was a bad move on their part. Even with the big reveal, it made the first half of the series still relatively bad compared to the latter half. I honestly think the show would’ve been a lot better if they had aired the show on AT-X or some other premium cable show so that the violence would be uncensored. If you’re going to have a show be guro and show all kinds of disturbing deaths, what’s the point of having all of it be censored? I’m not sure if something happened on the producing side of things where they couldn’t get an uncensored version of the show to air on AT-X, or maybe Japan got super soft since the days of Elfen Lied. I’m not even sure which show would be more violent: Elfen Lied or Blood-C. Guess we’ll have to wait for the Blu-Ray releases to find out… and even then that’s a few months from now. Not sure the dates of the BD releases.
Not sure if them film is going to be an OVA or theatrical film release. I’m hoping for the former so I don’t have to wait several more months after the film is released to see WTF happens. I’m sure the movie will likely just be 90% uncensored gore and action. I hope.

I guess overall I would say Blood-C is a good action series extremely marred by the terrible pacing. The action and animation quality definitely stands out as high quality; the direction, writing, and pacing do not. Overall I guess I’d give it a 6 out of 10. It’s not the worst show I’ve seen but probably one of the more disappointing ones. Uncensored version would probably be a 7 out of 10. lol.

Edit: Oh. Rereading your post, it doesn’t seem like you watched the series at all. Pretty much any violence of people getting violently eaten, slaughtered, smashed, stabbed, etc. was censored.
Fuck the censoring of Blood-C it seriously detracts from the experience when you can’t make out half the shit that goes on.
