Blood-C: Comedy of 2011
Never have I seen a show that contained such good looking action scenes sit alongside pacing and writing so bad that it took out all of the impact that the action scenes had. Watching Saya “protect” anything was the funniest thing Ive in anime since the end of AnoHana. Seeing the violence in the final episode reminded me of those 90’s anime OVAs that had crazy violence and action in it but was so over the top and accompanied with bad writing, it makes the scenes have no real impact outside of shock factor and humor.
I didn’t even watch all of it either. Just the first two episodes, then the last four cause i figured something would happen outside of milking the “things arent really as they seem” crap that was in (I assume) every episode just so they can segue into the movie. Yeah. Thats what this anime was for, to lead into the upcoming movie.
All in all its the worst anime I’ve seen in years but the 2nd funniest Ive seen all year.(I watched Galaxy Angel during this season. God I love that show)
If you think Blood-C is one of the worst animes ever you’re probably a hardcore Type B anime fan.

Well, only watched 2-3 episodes of Blood-C and can’t say I liked it so far, but I’m going to pick it up and give it another go once I can watch it uncensored.
Also just started to watch Casshern Sins from the recommendation in here. Was looking around for anything similar (as dark/darker) and the two that came up was Ergo Proxy and Texhnolyze. I’ve had Texhnolyze on my hdd forever now, but never got to watch it due to my download being in pretty bad quality, and Ergo Proxy I’ve heard mixed things about. Are both worth to pick up if I want to watch something a bit more “heavy”?

- So it turns out that Kanba and Shoma’s father is a terrorist…who coincidentally had Momoka as one of his victims in one of the group’s attacks 16 years ago.
- Also one of the brothers aren’t related by blood. Probably guessing it’s Kanba considering his risque scenes with his sister.
- Himari dies…again. For good? Who knows.
- Not only do we get penguins, but dark bunnies as well. What is up with that?
- And Sanetoshi seems to be a shinigami.
So many questions! It does give a sense of intrigue, though - so looking forward what would happen next.[/details]
Sket X Gintama Side B

Apart from the mentioning of the VAs, it’s pretty much a faithful recreation of the Sket Dance side of the crossover, with the Yoruzuya crashing into the Sket Dan’s clubroom. Only thing is we get the 2nd half with time travel shennanigans and Shinpachi fading into obscurity if he didn’t get his glasses back. :lol: I know a lot of people didn’t like this one, but I enjoyed it.
Well now I finished off Shakugan no Shana and am now caught up. It was pretty nice.
The 2nd season wasnt bad at all. Cause I skipped episodes 3 through 7. It ended up more fun than the 1st season. Thank you Aroduc.
Im not gonna watch Shana S cause they’re adaptations of the side stories and aren’t important to the main story.
I watched the first two Shana-tan shorts… They sucked. Fuck watching the rest of them. It was the same thing over and over. Bring on that final season. Hopefully with the final volume of the light novel coming soon the anime doesn’t pull a pull a Toradora situation.
